Indian Overseas Bank — regarding delay in overseas fund transfer

To whomsoever this may concern,
Respected sir /madam,

My mother had transferred a huge sum of 80, 000 for my living expenses from iob calicut last tuesday and it still had not been credited to my account. I was told due to flooding in kerala it will be delayed and its been more than a week and nothing has been done. When contacted to iob calicut they said they had forwarded it via courier. I don't get that even in this 21st century a bank is relying upon courier services to forward transactions which that too delayed for a week. This is really excruciating for us customers and i have decided not to use iob for overseas transactions due to irresponsible and least bothers workers in your bank.
