Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — deactivating irctc user account without information | |||
Below was the email sent to irctc on 09th feb 2020. They have a customer support team which apparently has no sense of customer support. Dear team, This is the snapshot of the ticket that i had booked long back which has my address and all my details. On what basis does the address look not properly mentioned? Are you guys blocking user accounts at your whim and fancy? My account and address have been the following for some 7 - 8 years and now you are saying the address is not correct? To date, i have no communications from irctc regarding the requirement for id proof or documents. You have not even done the basic thing of asking for the details or giving a warning / notice prior to deactivation of accounts. Is this what you call customer care? How can a large institution such as you arbitrarily deactivate accounts without informing the user prior? Or sending an email after deactivation would have helped. I am attaching my ticket and the relevant id proof. I expect this error from your end to be corrected or i am willing to take this matter further. Was this information helpful? | |||
