Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — food quality and service timings

I am aditi and i am travelling on train number 20506, ndls dbrt rajdhani express, pnr number [protected], and today i am writing this email on the behalf of all the passengers on board my coach about the food quality and timings.

When we first boarded the train at 9 am and the journey started at 9:25 am, the water provided to us was boiling hot in the hot delhi water and we were not provided with cold water even after asking for it several times with regular intervals throughout the journey.
Then at around 10:30am they served us a local drink which was barely cold too, then for 1 hour there was nothing, then at around 12 pm a tasteless soup along with breadsticks and butter. No tea or coffee was provided even after asking for several times before 4pm even though i have my diabetic mother with me who's bp was low and needed coffee along with something salty but still we weren't provided with tea or coffee.

Around 1:30 the lunch arrived, jeera rice, yellow dal, matar paneer and paratha, everything was tasteless and of worst quality, we couldn't gulp it down our throats and had to leave all the food as it was provided to us.

At 4 pm we were provided with a sandwich, a kachori and tea/ coffee. The sandwich was the worst sandwich i've ever had! A simple white bread with butter and 4-5 shreds of grated carrots. The kachori too was very oily and of worst quality, the coffee provided was of a brand that i've never heard of and tasted bad, we again had to leave the food and stayed hungry.

At 8:30 pm, we were again provided with soup with was extra tangy and was impossible to drink without any munchies and the dinner was served at 9 pm, till now all the kids are fast asleep waiting for the food, and then the food arrived, again the worst food! Tasteless rice, yellow dal and mix veg, again we left the food untouched because of the tastes and quality.

When we are traveling in rajdhani express we expect and want our food to be edible, hygienic and of good quality because we are paying a good amount to get this food, it is not provided to us for free. Earlier the service from rajdhani was amazing and i am so sorry to say that now it has dropped to being the worst with no quality food, no proper timings for providing the food or considering any requests in the time of need.

If you can't provide us with good and hygenic food then please return our money and don't force us to spend our money on this worst food.

For now i want a refund for this waste and tasteless food.
