We were at the station to board Begumpura at Jammu Station on 5th March'17. My father of 67 years of age was running on the platform while I was accompanying my mother and my 8 yr old daughter. As far as I know if the driver or the guard see a passenger running they have to stop the train immediately. That is why they have been provided with a walky talky.
The guard saw my father but did not stop the train.
We missed our train and then had to board Archana Express for Lucknow due to which we were unable to attend office on 6th March and I even missed my daughter's report card.
The issue is not why we reached late, but the issue is that when its the responsibility of guard or driver to stop the train if a passenger is running, then why did they not do so? Was this information helpful? |
