Hi, I am Ramesh..I booked many tatkal tickets back in 2012 to 2015, may be i failed 2 or 3 times and most of the times it was successful, but, I was wondering why Indian government removed "ID verification" for Tatkal members?? "Is this to increase the income of other persons"? or any specific reason behind that?? If no ID is implemented many brokers can book the ticket and they can sell at higher prices and that is negative for the current government.. If government is for the people then reconsider the ID verification for tatkal tickets, so many people will get benefit. If it is done by IRCTC., which is combination of Govt. and private then they should keep it public view for 6 months and based on the views you can decide. There is no public view for that, does that mean government is supporting the private guys individually ?? So can you reply for that?? Was this information helpful? | |||||

I have sent several emails and reminders for Activation but no response.
I have tried calling Customer executives, and they promise to solve within 24 hours and no action taken yet.
Its been 27 days now.
