Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — refund not generated

I have booked ticket for travel from Karur to Chennai Egmore for the travel date Aug 17, 2018. The train got cancelled partially from Mangalore to Trichy and was only operated from Trichy to Chennai. Hence I was unable to continue my travel through train. Still I have not received any refund amount yet. When I raised a query, it was said that the train was not cancelled. Then I sent the proof of cancellation. But still i didn't receive any refund.
