Dear sir, i am Srikanth... I had booked a Retiring room in Guntakal Railway station for the dates 9th and 10th May 2023 my checkout time is 06:00hrs on 11th may 2023. I had a reservation for room no 1 (double bed AC). As per schedule My train reached Guntakal station at 23:15hrs and i went to Collect the key of my booked Retiring room...
The lady representative at the office told that the room no 1 is already occupied by some one and i can't help with that... After some augment with her by showing my Reservation slip she called her superior and informed him...
After some time they gave me room no 2...and they didn't even took my personal details before check-in.
Now starts the story...
I entered into the Retiring room and saw the worst situation...
1. The room was used by someone and it's very dirty.
2. The bed sheets on the cot were with dirty stains.
3. The bathroom was pathetic... very dirty.
4. The room is with full of bugs and insects.
5. There was leftover food on table and the room is with dirty smell.
Immediately i went to the office room but no one were there... The time is around 23:45 and there is no option for me to go out of the station...
I was at the corridor of the room outside with my luggage till morning 5:30hrs and went to the office and handover the key to representative and told my situation what I had faced.
Firstly... When I booked the room for 48 hrs that is from 06:00hrs on 9th may 2023 to 06:00hrs 11th May 2023...
How my room was given to another person when it is already reserved...
I did not checked in lately... I came to the station as per my train schedule...
Secondly how they can give me the used and dirty room...
Requesting the IRCTC to solve the issue.
