Dear sir,
I who is a senior citizen was helping another senior citizen with his booking to & from ltt to sspn. He is 78 years old and stays alone after having lost his wife, just recovering from depression. The ticket # raised re this issue is 3974750. By mistake due to the unfriendly design of the system senior citizen concession was not applied on the ltt - sspn journey. I am appealing railways to take a humane stand with senior citizens when they do booking & not go by rules book. Kindly persuade them to provide us a with a refund amount after applying the senior citizen concession for this part of the journey. For the sspn-ltt journey we got wiser and got the senior concession. It just needs an empathetic consideration sir! My appeal to them to make the ui more senior citizen friendly is falling on deaf ears.
