Booked a ticket with irctc on 24th april and cancelled on 25th. But till date, no refund has been credited to my account. I got the below mail from irctc saying the refund is processed.
We wish to inform you that, with reference to refund against pnr number [protected] /irctc transaction id [protected],
An amount of rs. 485.0 has been processed as per below details:
Date of cancellation of e-ticket/date of failure of e-ticket booking: 26-apr-2019
Refund processing date: 30-apr-2019
Refund amount: 485.0
Refund id = [protected]
Refund reference no: [protected]
Payment option used : credit & debit cards / upi (Powered by irctc ipay) (Mobile_pg)

But when i checked with the bank, they said the refund reference number is not valid. So they cannot check. I tried to contact irctc customer support, but no response from their side. They keep on responding, your request has been forwarded to concerned department. But i never got any proper response.
Calls made to customer support team of irctc, keep on rejecting my request to look up on the issue. Also senior executives keep on disconnecting my calls.
Bank asked for the mode of refund and the correct refund reference number to check for the refund. But irctc support team is worst. They don't listen to your queries at all. Was this information helpful? |
