[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — airline service and lethargic attitude of staff | |
Last night i was supposed to board fight from ahd to goa vide 6e 947. I had cleared security check in at airport. I was sitting in front of gate number 3 since 21:00 pm but flight got departed without any information or verbal announcement. I asked to mrs jenil (Manager at airport) about the incident but instead of listening me she started defending giving excuse that this is silent airport and that’s why it was my duty to stick with boarding gate and she has no responsibility for any verbal announcement although i was sitting in front of boarding gate. Sir this has incurred around 23000 loss to me since my family was also with me vide addition pnr zyrjhy and i have felt helpless with such lethargic attitude of indigo airline. Don’t you think when i was issued boarding pass i deserve atleast a call or verbal announcement knowing well that i am inside airport only. Was this information helpful? | |

Verified Support Sep 21, 2018 IndiGo Customer Care's response Hi Dilip, We regret the inconvenience caused. As per policy, boarding gate closes 25 mins prior to the scheduled departure time. Our staff has no reason to deny boarding to the passengers who report on-time. In fact, they try to accommodate passengers who report marginally late. Also, we do paging announcements before the closure of boarding gates Based on our records, you reported at 2300 hrs to our gates. Since our boarding gates were already closed, our staff was unable to accept you for the same flight. Further, our endeavour is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with an intention to help the passengers to reach the destination, our airport team offered to accommodate on the next available flight subject to payment of applicable charges, which were accepted by the passengers. GYBY7F my booking reference. Yesterday was travelling from MAA airport to CCU airport. Food served was rotten . I have taken pics . Complained to Sayantani, chief cabin crew. She was helpful.
