[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — call to change your airline policy | |||
I just got off 6e 244, from delhi to chennai, pnr fkjug. I had pre book d my seat 13f. The gentleman sitting is 13e was over 300kgs. He split over onto my seat for the whole plane. He was so fat the hand rest wouldn't fully go down because of his stomach rolls. The whole 2 hours flight was extremely uncomfortable, i brought this to the attention of the in flight crew. They said nothing can be done and ground crew said nothing can be done as well. This is unacceptable, the airline needs to have some sort of policy saying ppl like him need to purchase two seats instead of inconveniencing other people around him.. I paid extra 800 for my seat, and this was worse than sitting in the last row next to the toilets. Something needs to be done about this. I want a refund of my 800 i paid got one of the worst flights i have ever taken! Usually indigo customer service is the worst with no action being taken. Please look into this at the earliest. Verified Support May 13, 2019 IndiGo Customer Care's response Hello Ms Menon, We truly regret the experience you had onboard with us. As per our findings, our crew offered you seat reallocation, however, it was denied by you. Preferred seats are chosen online per passenger's comfort and we have no control over the same. To make good the bad experience you had with us, we're refunding the said amount you paid to select your preferred seat.
