[Resolved]  Indigo Airlines — charged wrong cancellation charges

Dear sir/ madam
I had booked a flight from mumbai to amsterdam via indigo

As indigo (Along with turkish airlines) does not operate the direct flight from mumbai to amsterdam i was given the one stop flight with a lay over at istanbul. The ticket was issued as under one pnr

Due to the out break of covid-19 the flight from istanbul to amsterdam was cancelled by airlines. I was informed the same by airlines via sms and mail. It was also stated that i am eligible for a full refund

However when i actually cancelled the ticket, cancellation charges were charged to me. On raising this issue some i was answered that mumbai to istanbul flight was not yet cancelled by us so we are charging the cancellation charges. This would have been acceptable if i would have booked to separate tickets. However when i have booked this as a single ticket this is not acceptable

Can some one at indigo please look into this case and do the justice

Thanks to Indigo for responding to the complaint. Indigo has accepted the error in processing the refund and have agreed to refund the balance amount Thanks to indigo team
