[Resolved]  Indigo Airlines — cheating by indigo with first time flyer for making their money

Dear indigo staff,

I want to confirm that is this your staff duty to cheat with the customer by giving wrong information to make money.

As this instance was done with me by your ground staff on 12 dec 17 on 5:08am for my flight 6e 315

I was reached on airport on 4:00 am in the morning for my flight 6e 315 that was on 5:35am, after reached the airport i received my boarding pass by showen my web checking boarding pass, and i complete the security check within 15 mints, when i ask to the upper floor staff of indigo that door is not getting open to go then he said that it’s too early pls come on 5:20 and again i asked them to confirm that my flight is on 5:35 i have to come on 5:20 or early he confirmed me that sir no problem pls come on 5:20 am to go for boarding, at 5:05 am i walked with my wife to the 9 b gate for boarding, when i asked to the indigo staff who was stand in coridoor by showing my boarding pass to confirm is this same flight then he said that sir final call is going on pls go hurry, when i reached the gate (9b) at 5:08 am, then staff he and she who were standing for boarding sir your are late by one minute and she confirmed my and my wife name and suddenly removed the name from flight without asking any question or confirming anything, after this he said you have to adjust another flight, when i said adjust us in which you want he said pls come with me and he said pls go to that counter which was outside of security check area and that staff of your indigo said that you have to purched another flight for traveling, when i asked why i have to, this is your responsibility to adjust me i was on time and where was my fault, she said you have to take new flight of rs 31313rs which will fly on 2:30pm and after few minut she said it’s full now we have only 4:00 pm flight when i said something would be adjust from my last flight the. She said yes sir 4:00pm flight will be your for 2 passengers for 27000rs after adjusting your 3000rs govt. Tax, is this your service facility to the first flyers???

At 8:00am when i said to the staff my wife is not well i have to go my home then he said your have to wait in the premises because your bag is in 5:35 am flight 6e 315 which can not be returne so you have to wait at here i want to ask you guyes how can my lagage go in that flight in which i am not traveling??? Confirm me on this urgently.

After this staff said that you can go to your home pls confirm that you will take your 4 pm flight i said to her that i had paid 27000rs how come i will not take it. Then she said ok pls go without saying that you have any lagage in the airport.

This is your level for providing service to the first time flyer for making their money by cheating with the passengers.

Confirm me is this your service or what was done in this incident, if you want to check the camera recording then your can check the 5:08 am recording of your cctv at 9b gate number on 12, dec, 2017 for flight no 6e 315.

I had already my web checking boarding pass and my lagage was already gone on 5:35am flight 6e 315. How can staff removed my name from flight to adjust another passenger to sale out the ticket on higher amount. That is called cheating by reputed flight company,

Pls confirm what is your response in this incident, i am waiting for that, provide me the solution for my money.

Waiting of your response, or if you don’t want to give the response so is it understand as your company is maid for cheating with the customer and for taking uncancetual Momy from customer or passanger ???????

With reference to your concern raised, we have investigated the matter and would like to summarize our findings for you.
You were booked to travel on flight 6E 315 from Delhi To Kochi which was scheduled to depart at 05:35:00 hours on 12th December 2017. As you may be aware, boarding for our flight closes 25 minutes prior to departure. Based on our records, you reported at 05:15:00 hours which is 20 minutes prior to the departure. Since our boarding gates were already closed for your flight, our staff were unable to accept you for the flight.
At IndiGo, our endeavor is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with an intention to help you reach your destination, our airport team offered to accommodate you on the next available flight, subject to payment of applicable charges i.e. the difference in fare and re-accommodation charges, which we understand were accepted by you, and you duly travelled to your destination.Therefore, we are not in position to offer any refund in this regard.

As always, we were happy to have provided assistance to you and would request your understanding in this regard.

We look forward to serving you on board again.
