[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — deduction of cancellation charges on colombo cochin sector | |
Dear sir I had booked tickets for self and family (Three tickets) on colombo - bangalore - cochin (Return tickets) for journey on 22nd aug and back on 27th aug. Booking reference - kgqp6a. Subsequent to the closure of cochin airport due to flooding, indigo cancelled the reservation on 18th aug and communicated the same via e-mail. Since the available re-schedule window was not suitable, i opted to cancel the tickets. To my surprise, the refund was only 12597 inr of the 41697 inr that the tickets had cost, despite the airline having cancelled the schedule. Also indigo had announced waiver of cancellation charges for the period for the said sector. Please advice as to how the refund of the cancellation charges can be obtained. The amount credited to my account is only 12597 INR which is only a portion of the booking amount. The reservation was done on indigo website by myself.
Please arrange to revert the balance amount to my account.
