Indigo airlines — deficiency in service flight 6e 119 Today i reached airport at 5:45 am kolkata for check-in to board on flight 6e 623 but i was told at counter at 6:12 that the counter closed. Then i reached c01 counter where officer gave option to travel by next flight with some charges of rs1500/- from kolkata to agartala 6e139 Seat no 23c at 7:20 am then agartala to guwahati 6e 119 seat no 8c which was scheduled to depart at 9:50 am but departed at 11:15 am. Fact is when i reached counter just 8 minutes late you have refused me to board and i paid rs1500 then why not you have been chagres or refunded my excess rs1500 and other charges like food and lost of time opportunity as i have lost my business opportunity for such delay. However, to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, we have to follow certain protocols like closing the boarding gate before 25 mins of flight departure. Sadly, you had reported after the closure, hence we were unable to allow you onboard. Further, in order to save you from losing the entire ticket amount paid for the booking, our airport team offered re-accommodation on the next available flight with minimum charges, which was accepted by you. If your time is precious then customer's time is also precious. You have to be refunded the amount paid.
