Yesterday (26th nov'18) there was a flight (6e2554) from srinagar to new delhi (Dept: 10:55) which got delayed to more than 5 hours and took off around 4:00 pm.

My parents (Suresh kotecha & hemangini kotecha) were traveling in that flight and till 5 30 we were unable to contact them because they were told to sit inside the flight until the technical difficulties were resolved.
They had a connecting flight from new delhi to gujarat at 5:55 which they were unable to board because of the delayed flight from srinagar. Then indigo employees initially said they will take care of the stay and flight for next day and suddenly after few minutes denied to give stay at new delhi.
First of all this is totally unacceptable for a flight to get delayed for more than 5 hrs. If any person has a connecting flight its your responsibility to take care of the situation. My father had to resume work today which got delayed and also had to suffer one day loss in salary. My mother had to face unacceptable behavior from indigo employees. We were unable to contact them and totally afraid of their situation.
We are never going to use indigo flights again for our journey. I want total refund of ticket including my father's one day salary. (Inr 20, 000)
