[Resolved]  Indigo Airlines — extortion, harassment

Hi there,

I have serious compalint regarding indigo staff at boarding pass counter on pune airport. Those are three guys (Mathew, sneha and sourabh)
Today i had a flight on early morning from pune to jammu via delhi. I was flying with my wife and my baby. I have 2 pnr no. S one is of my wife and other is my self.

Pnr: syh27v
Pnr: ueveyz

I carried luggage of 15kg for check-in and my wife also also carried 15 kg for check-in.

My wife had 2 hand bags one is for infant which was 6 kg and other for herself 5.5kg and one laptop bag and airlines allow 7kg extra hand baggae if travelling with infant.

Myself also carried one hand bag which was 4.5 kg and one laptop bag.

But these guys charge us for laptop bags wife and my laptop total they charge 2800/- from us

They are not allowing us to carry two bags they only allow us one bag and was saying laptop is extra bag and we have to pay for it otherwise we have to amke corporate booking.

After this incidence i confirm from customer care and they confirmed me we can carry 7kg hand bag with one laptop bag. I also had same thing.

Take it on serious note.
I am very frequently flier and i know the rules this was not my first travel.

That time i didn't have any other options to pay only even the crowd was gathered there and your staff member saying they are doing wrong.

My kid was crying for 30mins and they torture us for 45 mins and they aren't release us. I could take other steps also but i was with my family, so i given them amount.

I want please consider it as serious complaint and i am ready to pay any changes you have

On Delhi airport I asked Indigo airline guy to visit and check my luggage, he also clicked photo of my all bags and did apologize for this also ensure me to take serious action those guys. I have that same pic also.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. We would like to inform you that the baggage allowance per passenger per fight is 7 kg for hand baggage apart from the laptop and 15 kg for check-in baggage, also baggage clubbing is not permitted for two PNRs. In addition to it, the passenger can carry 7 kg of hand baggage for the infant. As per our findings, you have checked-in a total of 30 kg baggage under the reservation SYH27V. Hence, our staff has requested you pay for the excess of 7 kg only after clubbing infant hand baggage in check-in and waiving off 1 kg excess baggage charge as customer service gesture. Please be rest assured that we always remain committed to assist our passengers in the best possible manner.

No, I am not mad that I will do 30kg check-in under one PNR even though I have 2 luggage of 15 kg each your staff member Sneha club both under one PNR considering us a family and this is her mistake not mine and there were no extra luggage even I have less luggage of hand bags.
You can check CCTV at Pune airport that what happen that time, if you guys don't investigate properly I am going to file FIR aganist these indigo staff members. Even your other staff members were gathered there.

I want proper investigation in this.

This girl Sneha consider our laptops as extra luggage not 30 kg bags as she was not allowing our laptop with 7kg bag.

Indigo Team I think you guys don't know math if I do 30kg check-in under one PNR. Why they consider 7kg as extra then they must consider 15 kg as extra. This is common sense and for infant I already confirmed from customer care that we can carry 7kg for kid. This is not your gesture.
