[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — extra baggage charges and harassment | |
09th february 2018, goa airport, we were 21 passengers travelling together having tickets spread over 3 pnrs (Pnr - xgjvyq, vyr8rs, m9u29c). Our total luggage was weighed together and it exceeded by 5 kgs. We requested to allow the same considering the large number of passengers, but your manager ms denise did not allowed a single kg and charged rs 1500 for 5 kg. Further she employed her total team to check and weigh our hand luggages to find out something else. She did not gave us the boarding pass for long time and by the time she lost one of our boarding passes. A duplicate pass was issued. Final boarding announcement started and we had 2 kids in our lap. Any how we boarded the flight in the eleventh hour. It was worst experience in my life. We have to think 10 times before boarding any indigo flight in future. Airlines never ask for extra baggage charges for 1/2 kg or 1 kg in general. Thus for 21 passengers 5 kgs are nothing. Was this information helpful? | |

As per our policies, passengers carrying more than 15 kg baggage need to pay INR 300/- per kg.
