Indigo Airlines — Flight misbehaviour | |||||
Dear Sir, I was booked in Indigo flight flying to Bengaluru from Kolkata, ( PNR - YY5HSM). I reached the airport at 5.20 and asked the staff to help me out with the boarding. But they asked me to stand in queue. Ultimately, when I reached the counter, at 5.49, was informed that boarding was not possible owing to late reporting. I then approached the manager in site, Ms Nandita Bala, and requested her to help me, was rudely dismissed and asked to get on the next flight. On pleading with the other personnel, was informed that the flight was overbooked and there was no way they could accomodate me, respite having a valid ticket. I was left with no option but to go to the reservation counter and get myself booked in the next flight against a payment of Rs 3569. I am a frequent flier and usually avail of the services of Indigo, but have never been treated as such. Especially Ms Bala's attitude towardsa customer was really not expected from a customer check in personnel and have never faced such treatment before. I would now reconsider taking an Indigo flight as the last option now onwards, if such is the treatment of an airlines staff.
