[Resolved]  Indigo Airlines — flight missed due to inordinate delay

Our indigo flight 6e 187 scheduled for goa from guwahati via hyderabad has left us at hyderabad, also baggages that we carried from guwahati is not traceable. On contacting the transfer counter they promised to carry forward our luggages in next flight as the scheduled flight has already departed, they promised to provide dinner, good accommodation to stay the night along, but in reality, we are now sitting sleepless in the lounge without any food. God knows about the languages, as mr. Kumar at hyderabad airport transfer counter has taken our luggage coupons.
Kindly advise.

your complaint is unclear - no date/no place of the vents, what was the fault of the iar carrier.

1.3. your bag tag, issued during the check in
1.4. PROPERTY IRREGULATORY REPORT (PIR) or DAMAGE REPORT.
Such docment has to be issued by the agent at the airport.
It is a document which mandatory for each passanger, issued by air carrier after the passenger had submitted the complaint on missing baggage following the flight in the airport.
Such complaint has been addressed at the air carrier site not later than 7 days follwing the flight.
If the agent has not ussued the DAMAGE REPORT at airport means they failed to accept your complaint ilegally.
You need to explaine it during your next complaint addressed to air carrier.
1.5. You exact request to air carrier.
1.6. The decsion of the air carrier.

2. The air carrier liablity for damaged/delayed bagage is limitted by the law.

3. It is usless to request the same subject matter more than 2 times from the same air carrier (example, gimme 2000 ruppes for delayed/damaged luggage), if the air carrier proposes the partial compensation or refuse dto pay within 15 days follwing the complaint sumission.

4. it is unclear
- what paid flight,
- at which airport
was cancelled or delayed from yor text.

5. The Indian and foreign law forecee standard compensation for delayed flight, depending upon the country of sale and airport. So, no ticket, no boarding passes = no advise can be given.
But you entitled to submit the complaint on luck of the service during the delayed flight, if delay was more than 2 hours. The duty of the air carrier is to issue the decision on compensation within 15 days following the correct complaint.

6. The future act is to bring a civil case to a local court only.
The expected expences for legal case can be:
- Indian government fees start from 2000 ruppes, if in India, depenfing upon the court nd sum
- legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional start
a) from !~5000 rupees + own efforts on the collection of the documents
or
b) from 15000 rupees if you wish to sit and talk to the lawyer over phone only.

The fair court shall award all reasonable losses, moral compensation, paid fees by the judgemnt.

I am not associated with the above air carrier.
