[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — indigo not cancelling my tickets to kerala, not issuing refunds

I had booked round trip tickets from hyderabad to cochin on 13th august 2019, and return tickets on 18th august 2019 with indigo.

Given the current flood situation in kerala, i need to cancel my flights as there is no way to travel anywhere, it is dangerous too because of floods, landslides.

Out of 13 thousand, they are only refunding 2 thousand back if i cancel.in other words, they are compelling the customers to travel, no matter what the circumstances are.

Please ask them to issue full refunds to customers till 13th august for cochin trips.

Updated by deepakshay They are still repeating the same thing, that they will not issue full refund. I am now compelled to travel to Kerala even though it is risky to do so.

IndiGo Customer Care's response Hi,

We understand your point but as of now, we're offering change/cancellation fee waiver for flights to/fro Kochi scheduled to fly on or before 11th August. However, we're monitoring the situation and will let our passengers know in case there will be an extension.
