It is indeed astonishing to observe such an irresponsible behaviour of the personnel of Indigo by my wife Vijay Lakshmi Pandey who boarded the VNS-HYD flight via Delhi on 9th Dec.2015. Her seat no.is 15D.
Flt.did reach a bit late at Delhi i e by 7.30 p.m.thereafter the irony began.VNS passengers were made to wait for more than 3.00 hrs.without any information.My wife was literally confined for more than 3 hrs.without any food etc.When I reached Airport to receive her around 10 p.m.I got a call from some fellow passengers mobile that Flight is yet to take off.Needless to mentioned that her mobile battery got exhausted.Thereafter, I contacted one Director of Indigo Mr.Vipin Maula at his mobile [protected] to know the actual status, besides calling my other relatives and friends to know the actual status and I am thankful to the Director who reverted with info.that flight may take off at around 10.30 p.m.
My relatives also calle me and informed that due to non availability of Pilot, flight could not take off.You were waiting for the flight to come from Mumbai to take this aircraft off.This is height of improper planning and negligence that too for the passengers of Mumbai, who were wrongful restraint for no fault of theirs and they were made to starve without food or water.courtesy demanded that they should have been treated properly with right information and by providing some food and water.
This calls for proper explanation besides refunding the fare with a token compensation of Rs.5000.
I hereby demand the same which must be paid within 10 days failing which I shall be compelled to knock the door of Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum for ends of Justice.
Pl.act ASAP n refund the amount to avoid litigation.
