[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — luggage policy

I was carrying 3kgs excess in my luggage and no checkin baggage but the guy refused to take that and made me carry the luggage in my hand. I understand there is a policy but policies don’t change everyday right? When i came they adjusted the same from mumbai but chennai staff was really adamant. There was a delay of flight from 9.10 to 11.50pm and no courtesy shown by any staff.

We understand your concern but our staff always try their best to assist the passengers for a hassle-free journey. Please know, the clubbing of hand baggage & check-in baggage is not permitted. We hope you understand that they've to abide by the policies which allow 15 kg in check-in baggage & 7 kg in hand for domestic flights. Nevertheless, we believe this could be handled in a better manner. We'll share your feedback with the concerned team for immediate staff briefing.
