[Resolved]  Indigo Airlines — missed check in

27th april 2018- bengaluru to bagdogra at 6:50am. Pnr jymzqs
We had done web check-in and reached the counter at 6:17 am. We still had 45mins time. They said it's closed and didn't allow us and sent us to book the next flight. We couldn't get the next connecting flight and also was not available for next 3 days. Is this the way to make money. We have two small kids and is this how the indigo treats us. We had to cancel it and we hardly got any money for cancellation. There was a huge queue in indigo counter which makes me feel that this is the way the airlines is taking undue advantage of the situation to make illicit money. All the other flight counters were free. I think we will take legal opinion on this.
P. S: i'm very sure by now indigo airlines has got immune to all these complaints since the review is so bad. I should have checked the reviews before booking a flight in indigo.

We would like to inform you that as per policy, check-in counter closes 45 mins prior to the scheduled departure time and in case of web check-in passenger need to check-in their baggage before the closure of check-in counter. As checked, you reported at 06:18 hrs for the flight scheduled to depart at 06:50 hrs and your luggage was not check-in that was the only reason our staff couldn’t accept you on the same flight. Further, you can claim no show taxes refund, request you to get in touch with respective travel portal used while making the booking. We would request your understanding in this regard. We look forward to serving you on board again.

Every flight would give some amount of concern for the customers. I'm a regular traveler. I have traveled to different countries and I was in the same situation or maybe I have reached a bit later. This is not the way Indigo treats the customer. This is how Indigo is making money. You should have consideration for a few customers with kids. I regret to say that I don't agree with your policies.
