[Resolved]  Indigo Airlines — missing baggage and no update so far

On[protected] i was a passenger on the indigo flight 6e 202
My luggage which was check in at imphal airport never arrived at my destination ahmedabad airport. The loss was reported to the staff of indigo counter, ahmedabad on the arrival and the appropriate luggage report form was filled up. Later it was found that one of my luggage was at pune airport and the airline staff delivered it to me on 1-1-2019
But yet to receive one more which was dark blue in colour and they didn't have any information about my other bag and they are not giving me any update so far about it.

1. There is a time limit for submission the complaint for a delayed baggage:
7 days or 21 days following the flight, if the baggage is not receved.
You have done it to the agent of air carrier. ok.

You need to have:
- your bag tag
- PROPERTY IRREGULATORY REPORT (PIR) or DAMAGE REPORT, issued by the agent
- e-ticiket

2. The air carrier liablity for damaged/delayed bagage is limitted by the law.
All claims have to be addresed to the air carrier at the air carrier site,
which have 21 days for the bagage delivery to the owner home/hotel.
Than you can claim for the additional compensation from air carrier.
In 15 the decsion on the compensation or refusal has to be issued by air carrier.

3. Following 15 days, all disputes on damages have to be resolved in the court of the country of the departure or of the arrival, and not later tha in 1 or in 2 years, depening upon the country.

4. You are advised to save
1. bag tag
3. e-ticket
3. PIR / Damage report, which was issued by agent

Note, it is usless to request the same subject matter more than 2 times from the same air carrier (example, gimme 100 ruppes for delayed luggage).
The expected expences for legal assitance can be:
- government fees [ from 200 ruppes ],
- legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional [ from 4000 rupees]
The fair court shall award all reasonable losses, moral compensation, paid fees.
