[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — need refund as cannot fly to kochi as there is flood and calamity in kochi | |||
Dear Indigo Me and family were to fly to Kochi on 14 Aug by 6E 214. PNR is OY2UMI There is flood and calamity in Kochi and so wanted to cancel the tickets or atleast keep an open ticket or rechedule it to a later date as we dont want to travel now which can be of high risk to me and my family which includes a 2 year old daughter. On mutiple inquiries through your customer care number and service executive, we received the following update : The policy for rechedule is : 1. Need to reschedule atleast 3 hours prior to time of flight and need to pay 2400 + GST + difference of fair per reschedule . 2. Cannot change sector or passenger. 3. Also no refund on cancellation. 4. Also got response from executive that there is no special policy to handle such emergency situation and they have not got any intimation. The above policy holds good for any reschedule / cancellation. As a genuine customer keeping the safety of my family in mind, i will be forced to forgo or cancel this ticket or travel in this unpleasant situation.
