[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — posting of false promise for travellers | |||||
- pl refer my booking reference no. Tb8fns & kl67mb for flt 6e - 616. - after re-scheduled of said flt, i was offered to accept plan b or cancel the ticket at 'no charge'. - accordingly, i opted to cancel my tickets and opted for refund. However, after cancellation, an amount of rs 600/- was deducted out of total refunded amount from each itinerary stating as "convenience charge" - while offering for cancellation, a prior information for deduction of convenience charges was not intimated to the traveler. - hence, it is stated that total amount deducted as convenient fee be refunded to me at the earliest as the same was hide to me while offering cancellation. - the promise offered to the traveler seems to be cheating with costumer - an early and right action is expected.. After reviewing the matter internally, we would like to inform you that flight was delayed due to IndiGo operational reasons. We recognize the importance of maintaining our flight schedules and assure you best of our efforts to eliminate or minimize the causes of delay, which are within our control. We do realize the impact of a flight delay on the convenience of our passengers and shall take your feedback into account to ensure a more hassle-free experience on your next journey with us. We would like to mention that in an event wherein a flight is canceled, a passenger may opt for a full refund or an alternative IndiGo flight subject to availability. Adhering to the same, the entire ticket cost has been processed for refund. We have taken your concerns into account and purely as a step to restore your faith in our services, and as a special case, we have refunded the convenience fee which will be credited in 7-10 working days into the same account used in the reservation. It seems that the booking reference number you have entered is incorrect. We request to enter the IndiGo airlines booking reference/ PNR number which is a six-digit alphanumeric number, starting and ending with an alphabet in order to apply for travel certificate.
