I was trying to reschedule a return flight which I had booked for the wrong date inadvertently. The moment the ticket got booked I realized the mistake. And then started the tedious process of getting to INDIGO customer support. Every time you call them, your call is put on IV and gets cut automatically or moves to bot. Finally I had my success after repeatedly calling them for almost 100 times. Only to be told by the rep that I didn't reach to them on time (within 24 hours of booking the flight) and so my request for dates rescheduling can't be done.
I explained them it was an honest mistake and I have been trying to reach to them through the number mentioned on their website. They did accept that number don't work most of the time but still kept saying that we even in that case we should have reached them withing 24 hours of booking. This flight which I am trying to rescheduled for the month of October which is 2 months from now. It never seemed their intent is to help a customer in need or mitigate my grievance. Thats the worst kind of service I have been rendered. The obsession of minting money at the expense of customer has gotten so much into the head of these peopel that forget service taking back sear right now it has jumped out of window.
Where a simple modification could have easily helped me and have saved me a lot of money. They decided to dupe me in this tough times. But that surely is not the intention of indigo. Was this information helpful? |
