This happen yesterday at 1800 hrs (15/10/2022) to my wife who traveled first time to abroad. (Bangalore to Singapore by Indigo airline) She was holding valid Entry Visa to Singapore. It was a entry visa to Singapore which was valid till 7th Dec 2022. Unfortunately staff at front desk and duty supervisor at counter made a unnecessary issue saying your return ticket is on 11 December 2022 and Visa valid is till 7th Dec. Actually it was entry visa with multiple journey.
They hold her from issuing boarding pass and ask to reschedule the return ticket before 7th Dec. Giving unnecessary panic and trouble.
It was clearly lack of knowledge from staff on visa guidelines. Due to this my wife had to suffer tough time at Bangalore airport.
Staff clearly lack the understanding of entry visa and stay visa.
Please educate and train them to avoid such misguiding and trouble to other passengers in future. (INDIGO FRONT DESK STAFF). Was this information helpful? |
