[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — sudden cancellation of flight | |
I was to travel from bangalore to imphal and i had booked indigo 6e-874. The ticket was confirmed. The scheduled departure was on 19/02/2019 at 9.50. But on february 03, 14, 15 and 18 got messages saying the flight is rescheduled due to operational reason. The revised time is 9.30-12.00/[protected]hrs, pnr-liibnq on 19 feb. But when i went to the airport to my shock the flight was postponed to 20 feb. I had an important meeting to attend at imphal. It is unfortunate and disgusting to know that the airlines takes the passengers for granted. Was this information helpful? | |

Verified Support Feb 21, 2019 IndiGo Customer Care's response Hi Jason, We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the rescheduling of our flight. However, we would like to state that our operations dependent on various factors such as runway availability, air traffic congestion etc. which are beyond our control and determine our on-time performance. But, if an IndiGo flight is cancelled or delayed for more than 2 hours or rescheduled for 1 hour earlier, you can either re-book on another Indigo flight or cancel. The re-booking is done at no extra charge and the entire amount is refunded in the case of cancellation. Also, we have sent multiple notifications regarding the change on the registered mobile number with a link to choose alternate flight or refund. We hope that you would understand.
