I have travelled in indigo 6E 6893 Darbhanga-Kolkata flight at 13:55 pm yesterday (13rd Dec, 2022) and then indigo 6E 077 Kolkata-BKK flight at 19:45 pm yesterday (13rd Dec, 2022). I had one jewelry, some cash (inside a book), and personal belongings in my check-in luggage. I got the luggage back after landing in Kolkata but didn’t notice its lock (Blue plastic type which airlines had put onto my luggage in Darbhanga). I re-checked in my luggage in Kolkata and got the luggage in BKK airport at 2:00 am (14th dec.2022). Once I was home in Thailand, I found out that someone opened the bag and stole the jewelry mentioned while the other valuables items are intact. It has obviously been done by either airport authorities or indigo employees and if they have to blame someone else for this act it would in turn prove their worst security for customer's belongings. I can't think of anything more unprofessional than this. We pay a full amount and board the flight being relieved of our worries of the luggage which supposedly is been taken care by the airlines. I believe for such a hideous act, even a full compensation does not suffice. Please provide me a solution to this before I could take any further action against it. This is so not acceptable to me.
