Indigo Airlines — Unethical behaviour | |||||
I with my colleague was to travel by indigo flight 6e 271 departure at 6.15 am from kolkatta to chennai on 26th may 2017. We reached the airport at 4.30 am and got the boarding pass at 5.15 am. But unfortunately due to heavy rush in the security check we got cleared at 5.50 am. But when we reached the boarding gate at 5.55 am they told the gate is closed and cannot travel. No refund was given and due to my urgency i was forced to travel by the next flight which cost me rs 14135/-. No reduction was made by the airline authority though we have not delayed in entering in the airport. Even we got the boarding pass the airline has not taken the responsibility to board us. The same was taken up with the airlines and they refused to pay the excess amount paid by me during the travel. This is the unethical behavior of the airline. Was this information helpful? | |||||
