I want to report the negligent behavior and indifferent and callous behavior of the control room supervisor.
I got my pipeline connection initiated on 5th sep by a representative called vikash in b-23/1401, tulip violet, sector 69, sohna road, gurugram, haryana 122101. My mother in law got the connection done and she also mentioned to him that there is quite a delay in the gas coming, to which he said this is the norm in pipeline gas and hence delay was expected.
Every time we tried putting the flame on, there was a lot of delay in the gas getting on. Today morning (18th sep 2019) around 9.15 am - my cook was standing in the kitchen and i was sitting on the table next to her and we both saw glass coming up in the air and hit her body and she somehow managed to save her eye from the glass.
The toughened glass of the burner broke completely and exploded to hit her eye. We were so shocked and scared. I immediately raised a complaint with both prestige (Gas burner) and igl pipeline.
A person called anand visited us from igl pipeline and on inspection, he confirmed that there was a flaw in the way the pipeline connection was done by vikash. He said there was leakage happening from the burner, which led to gas being formed and heating up - thereby heating the glass and exploding it. His colleague named prabhakar also confirmed the same. However when i called the control room, the supervisor started denying this and said the burner glass couldn't have broken and exploded due to the pipeline gas leakage issue. I also called their office multiple times but they didn't revert back properly and made excuses on how this wasn't their or their executives' fault. My cook and i could have had a very major accident today which we narrowly escaped. I demand that they reimburse all the damages and also pay for the mental trauma caused. They should take full precautions while installation to ensure no one else has to face similar situation again and no accidents causing harm to people or goods take place.in my society (Tulip violet, sohna road, gurugram) - many such issues have been reported because of the negligence of the pipeline connection executive and company. However, the company is very callous and ask the users to get the glass exchanged from the burner company and keep ignoring any such requests. What's worse their higher management/ authorities deny negligence on behalf of their staff and refuse to accept their mistake. This is absolutely unacceptable.

    I am the resident of deepak vihar najafgarh and my bp no is [protected] & [protected]. I hav paid my initial charges but the contractor has left my connections and some others. Also he hasn't repaired his road cuttings and diggings due to which we are facing hell lot of problems. When asked him he talked rudely and said he has finished all of his work. Kindly look into the matter.

    It has been more than a month I have been trying to get my gas connection up.

      Gentle reminder 3

      Have just logged the service request for the old material have been installed at my premises. Please note last month i requested igl to re-install the png connection, where in there was a bill generated by the igl team
      Bill no [protected] dated 17.07.2019 for rs 3421.68/- against the the re-instillation of png connection.

      I need to know all the pipes and av system were old installed at my residence which were retaken move from my earlier residence place, this means the the above charges of rs 3400 were service and installation charges as there were no new material been installed.

      Here i request please put the new items and take this matter as serious as you are fooling the customers where in charges been taken and old material installed by your team.

      Treat the same as urgent and replace all the old items with new items.

      Look forward a positive and faster response from your side.

          Hi my name is sumit [protected]
          I paid cheque of 275 on 25/07/2019 and agent told me within 15 days it will be done. After that no response and month back igl agent name sanjay called me and his no is [protected] that he will come to install pipes. But he never came. Again he called and confirmed that he will come on thursday so i need to take off... Again he didn't come. So today is the 4th time he did same with me i toof off and as usual he never came.. Igl toll free number is always busy as that is spam no... No one contacted from igl and i do not think this is government might b vendors are there private. So i do not need connection now and want my money back...

          Every one know money does not matter but yes commitment matters for me...4 times I took off just because of that stupid guy Sanjay...going forward I will fill this on consumer court as I have all the recordings and just attach affidavit and fight this case on my own...

              Dear sir,

              My bp numbers are [protected] and [protected]. Name is sandeep malhotra r/o c-23, green park extension. New delhi 110016. Tel [protected]. I had requested for cancellatiion of my both connections in 2017 september as my house was being re-built.

              My both connections were put in safe custody and my 12000/- deposit was also not refunded. Now for on request for 2 new connections on the same address i have been forced to pay 2000/- for each connection as safe custody charges and charged 3800/- each for laying of old pipes.

              This is not right on the part of igl. Kindly help. Sandeep malhotra

              After installing the meter and all fittngs..no body came for connecting gas stove with meter.we are calling again and again but nobody came to resolve our problem. INSTALLATION COMPLETED ON 24 AUGUST 2019

                I have booked a new igl connection on 11th july. After lot's of calls one person came to my house and pickup the necessary documents and a cheque of rs.6000/-. After some time another person came to my house about figibility checkup and found ok. I have received the mail from your side for that my cheque in received and cleared from my account. Sir whenever i called to your customer care they hold my line about 10-12 minutes that sir, check karke batata hu. And then suddenly disconnect the line without giving any answer.. Sir, tel me what to do. Also confirm me about the installation of my connection.

                    I am currently residing in rohini sector 22 pocket 6 house number 147 as i have paid the full amount for getting a new connection at my residence but there is no action taken by your company and after calling many times to your employees there is no sufficient action has taken place till now.
                    I humbly request you to please get me a new gas connection as soon as possible i will be great ful.

                      I booked png connection in may beginning. I was told 3 months i would getting connection. I submitted all papers to the door step service person with house papers and 275rs cheque. After 2 months i was told that they have received any documents thats why my connection is not being installed. I submitted documents and cheque again at rk puram walk in center. Now its two more months. My cheque is debited. Inhave a bp no. The app shows my profile. But no one is coming to put connection in my house. The customer care puts me on 8 to 12 min waiting always but never comes on line. I am tired of this charade. Please resolve my problem and install pipeline in my house.

Mr. Vikas come in my house for connection and ask give me ladder and oil for the connection. We refused to give ladder and oil. Mr. Vikas misbehave & arrogant talking with me.

                          When we go to igl cng pump station, muradnagar for filling gas in our car at 5:15 am. They say that there is no gas for filling and the gas will be filled after 6:00 am when new shift will be come.

                            I am Pooja Pokhriyal, BP No. [protected], My papers and check was deposited in FEB'19 however no connection was done. I called up at 50 to 60 times as every time i am getting a new number to call. Mr. Kunal our area manager is not picking up the call i called him many number of times, I called up customer care so many times and i was given an assurance that a complaint is launched and it will resolve soon but no luck. I am writing you to please resolve the connection as the gas line is activated in my building and people in my building are using it.

                            I request to please resolve my query on top priority.

                              This harassment is going on for last 2 years repeatedly complaining but your system is not improving sometimes you say new agency hired they will correct the details some time other excuses. Bills are not received then you start charging late payment fee.
                              For customer care no email of any officer of the igl is available to take up matter and resolving the issue. Will you let me know who will listen and ensure things timely and correctly?
                              Or we need to complaint to consumer forum.
                              Please give me mobile number of supervisory officer/executive officer of igl.

                                This has reference to my igl connection the worker or plumber called me at morning and told that we r coming around 10 am for ur igl connection. I am a working lady, i took a leave for that day that is on friday (23.08.2019) and they came around 1pm after that they started working for more than 3 hrs.
                                When an engineer and his subordinate (Who called me at morning) said the pipe is not fitted properly it should be rectify, after that the person told me signed on these papers (Ye toh chits as kaam hai mei kal subah karwa dunga) and now i had called them many times and they keep saying everytime abhi aa jayega and then till today the situation is same. No one came and no connection of gas. So please tell me what is the use of gas meter plz uninstalled the unit from my kitchen i[censored] and ur workers r not able to rectify d mistake which were made by them and without any gas connection, why wasting our valuable time and money (Also drilled a hole in slab for their pipe connection) and harass common people like us.
                                Kindly do the needful at the earliest.
