    I have telephoned repeatedly and written to Indraprastha Gas Ltd to request them to fit a gas pipe connection to my residence in Jorbagh. I am a tenant on the first floor and my landlord already has a connection on the ground floor.

    They keep promising to come 'next month' and it has gone on for 5 months like this. I wrote a letter to them on 5 March 10 and sent it by registered post - no response.

    Please advise what can I do ?

    I booked the new PNG connection on 8th.December,2010 vide BP No. [protected].Till now nobody has bothered to contact me or visit the site.In spite of my repeated requests made to Customer helpline[protected].Will the higher authorities look in to the matter seriously in the public interest.

      I have got the gas meter installed and checked, but there is no supply. Even after repeated complaints they always say that the supply will be started in 2 days. It is going like this for more than 20 days in which I have called Ruchi Infocom three time. Today on asking when our gas supply will start, Mr. Vikas Dwedi arrogantly said that whether you have relations with the CM or PM, I request that I be connected to the PNG suppy as my gas cylinder is quickly running out,

      IGL — Non connectivity

      We wanted to know the reason behind the non connectivity for the gasline with my gas lines.
      The infrastructure for the gas pipeline has been installed in my house in December -January and the testings were completed in January itself.
      However the end termination of the pipeline to my gas burners has no been done from then and despite neumourous complains to the local vendors of the IGL who touched base with us at the time of installations have failed despite neumourous attempts.
      I booked my gas on 22/11/08 with the local vendors.
      NON-CONNECTIVITY ON PNG CONNECTION :

      I also applied for PNG connection on 13.12.08 and B.P. no. allotted is [protected] for installation of PNG
      I want to know the reason behind the non connectivity for the gasline with my gas lines.
      The infrastructure for the gas pipeline has been installed in our Block and is working in the area. However the end termination of the pipeline to my gas burners has not been done despite neumourous complaints to the the IGL

Cheques were cleared in the month of July 2010 and now almost one year has gone but till date I am yet to hear a word from IGL regarding the connections. When contacted their Vasundhra, Ghaziabad Office one official named Mr. Rajiv (A VERY CARELESS PERSON) Mobile No:[protected] (Which is out of order every time) every time assured me that the connections will be done in a months time. I don't know where to go and complaint about the this careless attitude of IGL employees. SOMEONE HELP. MY BOOKING RECEIPT NOS.       NO Connection After 15 Months

      I am Rahul,

      Have Applied for IGL connection In IGL Cheque Of 6000/- Given On March 2010.
      Now its June 11 company have not given connection instead of their commitment of 6 months. I have talked to all the big guns but nobody wants to talk even at the top level. Some of the concern whom I co-ordinated are Batacharya: [protected], Mr. Ahsan (not want to even listen a word) -[protected].

      I dont Know what to do... No System to Handle False Commitments...

      I have booked two connections with BP no [protected] for my first floor and second floor residence of 411-A, Ext-1, Shalimar Gardan, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad in the month of Sep 2011 and deposited total amount of Rs.12000/-. Cheques were cleared in the month of sept. 2011 and now almost 6 Month has gone but till date I am yet to hear a word from IGL regarding the connections. When contacted their Ghaziabad Office one official name Mr . Aludin (mobil [protected], Mr Satveer M.No.[protected] & Harish M.No.[protected] Mr. SHUKLA (A VERY CARELESS PERSON) Mobile No:[protected] contacted several times, every time assured me that the connections will be done in a months time. I don't know where to go and complaint about the this careless attitude of IGL employees.

        My BP No is [protected]. My bill for the period from 16.11.2010 to 15.03.2011 has been raised as Rs. 2466.91 which is too much high in comparasion to my consumptions. Earlier I was in another Qtr. in same locality and my BP No. was [protected], which can prove my consumptions. I have registered a complaint No. 351291 and the person which attended the same informed me that their is no leakage in the pipe line/gas stove. I asked him about the accuracy of the meter, but he did not give satisfactory reply. Kindly do the needful immediately for replacing the meter so that I will not suffer to much for without any fault.         It’s been more than 20 days; I have requested IGL to correct illegal connection given from my house to other house without any NOC. But there is no corrective measure taken by IGL. More surprising there is no acknowledgement of my emails.

        Please heed to my request and take corrective action immediately else I am planning to go to consumer court for this illegal connection.

          Dear Sir,

          This is in continuation to our various telephonic calls and written representations made to your office for faulty PNG meter installed at our house. Copy of the emails and subsequent reminders sent to you is enclosed for your ready reference. Copy of the acknowledgment received from png customer care is also enclosed for your ready reference.

          It is again submitted that the subject meter installed in our flat has been showing reading disproportionate to our consumption, from the very inception.

          The above has been brought to your notice when you were requested to our meter tested so that our grievance could be redressed.

          But the person deputed by your office only sprinkled some water on the meter and said the meter is ‘OK’ which did not satisfy us.

          Prior to piped gas, our consumption was less i.e 14 kg Gas Cylinder worth Rs. 295 would be consumed in approximately one and half months (coming to a maximum of Rs. 200 per month) whereas we have been paying far above that now.

          In view of the above, a letter was sent to you through courier and the same was also emailed to you at customercare.png. An acknowledgement of receipt of the mail was also received by us you are requested to kindly get out meter tested immediately to redress our grievance.

          Bill No.[protected] for Rs. 599.16 was paid against protest.

          This month again we have got a bill for Rs. 859.82 which in no way matches our normal consumption and the same is not being paid till the time our grievance is redressed.

          You are once again, requested to look to our complaint on priority, failing which we shall be constrained to approach the proper quarters or even the consumer forum.

          Indraprastha Gas — Faulty Meter

          I had complained several times (via emails sent on 12th, 19th and 30th Mar-10) to the IGL's Customercare (customercare.[protected]@igl.co.in) regarding gross excess billing to the extent of about 2.5 times on my connection no. BP No. [protected] for the period since 7-Jan-10 and requested that the meter be checked. This has not been done to date.

            They installed wrong connection we have asked about wrong installation.

            But they do not hear and Stard argue.

I was the 1st person in the our apartment, who had applied for IGL GAS CONNECTION. Since more than 1 year I was requesting for gas connection, but I don't know why such delay from IGL.

Then again i have generated new ref no.[protected] and [protected] on 4/9/2015 and showing same status from 4/9/2015 to till date even after deposit of requisite payment to igl. No any progress. At site all installation and extension of service line work is completed physically at spot much earlier but BP no. has not generated yet. which is required to be provided soon please

            I Nirmal Pasrija applied for the Gas Connection our house No. 80, D.S(Ground Floor), New Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi 60 for the month of Dec., 2016 and full fill all the formalities. I have paid through cheque Rs.6000/- and debited from my a/c in 19th Jan., 2017. I complaint so many times in customer care centre he misbehave every time and speak very rudely and techincian visited my house six times every time with new story says sautrday you get positively connection. But one day Riti Raman techinician visited my house and misbahed with me and write no connection is installed at your premises your kitctchen is made wrong side and ultimately i demand my money six thousand is refunded to me after i report the matter. I fill the form for refund of my money from your R.K.Puram Office on 29/3/2017. I was shocked when i received the message from your office your money is refunded to you on 7.1.2017 when your company clearing the cheque on 19.1.2017 how we get our money back on 7.1.2017 till date we have not recd. my money i.e. 6000/- and no reply from your side. Now I am prparing to go to consumer court.

Same has been sanctioned and your employee came for installation but I was not at home for some time . I do nor know BPO number for ref.               Sir
              I have deposited a sum of rupees 5000/= for a PNG conncection in March 2009. Fitting of pipe line has been done in July/August. at the time of fitting your executive has told me that no extra piline has fitted in your home.

              After this two time they have take measurement of pipe line. Then they told me that there is extra piple line fiiting and you have to pay 420/= rupees . then i object on this and them to show me your measurement and take all measurement in front of me. He assured me to do so but he never come back to take the measurement in fornt of me.

              One man come one to deliver a letter of measurements I refuse to take this letter by replying him take measurement again in my presence. then i will accept this letter. But after this no body has come to my house.

              Neither my conncection has been started nor any body come to my house to take measurement or deliver any kind of letter.

              Mean time i have deposited a amout of rupees of Rs 420/= for the extra payment.

              Now I want my conncection should be stared at once and there should be again taken measurement of Fitted pipe line. In this regard letter should be given to me.

              Some wholeson the wall which was made for installing of lines, has not been filled yet.

              Delay show some conspiracy or other malafied intentions.

                  There were 3 applications made 3 connections at our residence in March 2009 (Regn. No's [protected], [protected], [protected]) on payment of Rs. 15,000/-. In response to this the contractor Tractbel Engineering approached us for installation in October 2009, they were told that we require the Gas Meters on the outer wall of kitchen (which is in covered accessible secure area) and since we have the Gas Hobs fitted on cooking slabs with gas inlet point under the slab, the PNG delivery point nozzel and shut-off valve may be provided near the input point which is open area below the cooking burners plate and is easily accessible to shut off gas supply valve. Also we requested that the small length of pipe after the meter as per IGL norms be of Copper pipe.

                  The contractors representative who came to install told us that the installation will be done as per our requirement and they carried out the GI pine installation upto the roof to bring it down from service shaft upto kitchen outer wall, later their superviser came to inspect and told us that he can not agree to any of our requests (including providing copper pipe after the meter) as they are not allowed to do anything like this and told me to contact their senior Mr. Manager Singh at [protected] to discuss it further. Mr. Manager Singh repeated the same saying that our requests are against the IGL installation rules. I requested him to show me the installation rules of IGL but I was told that they he has no written rules/guidelines they work on verbal orders of IGL, I asked him if he is IGL officer to which he said that he is working through the contractors/consultants appointed by IGL and I should contact IGL to find out the installation rules and regulations, he refused to provide any contact person details in IGL.
                  I contacted the IGL customer Helpline at [protected] and spoke with Mr. Kailash who listened to my problem and after consulting his senior repeated the same answer that if the contractor says it is against the rules then it is against the rules, I asked him who can provide me with a copy of such rules to which he had no answer but told me to contact the Headquarters of IGL.
                  I find it really annoying that the IGL contractors are insisting on providing a very unsafe installation in our kitchens they want us to have rubber gas pipe running on top of our work slab which is exposed to extremely hot utensils, and cutting knives. Whereas we want a safe installation. They are acting in a very arbitrary manner without being helpful or providing any contact point in IGL or showing the installation rugulations.
                  The installation norms were neither provided at the time of booking for connection nor the same are available on the IGL website.
                  Would the senior management at IGL do something about this monopolistic behaviour and provide us with a safe connection as requested or explain to us how our request is unsafe or against IGL norms of installation ?

                  This matter was resolved after the visit of IGL officials at the site and they agreed to provide the delivery point on the outer wall near Gas meter from where we could take the shielded flexible pipe to our cooking gas hob.

                  This is in continuation to our various telephonic calls and written representations made to your office for faulty PNG meter installed at our house. Copy of the emails and subsequent reminders sent to you is enclosed for your ready reference. Copy of the acknowledgment received from png customer care is also enclosed for your ready reference.

                  It is again submitted that the subject meter installed in our flat has been showing reading disproportionate to our consumption, from the very inception.

                  The above has been brought to your notice when you were requested to our meter tested so that our grievance could be redressed.

                  But the person deputed by your office only sprinkled some water on the meter and said the meter is ‘OK’ which did not satisfy us.

                  Prior to piped gas, our consumption was less i.e 14 kg Gas Cylinder worth Rs. 295 would be consumed in approximately one and half months (coming to a maximum of Rs. 200 per month) whereas we have been paying far above that now.

                  In view of the above, a letter was sent to you through courier and the same was also emailed to you at customercare.png. An acknowledgement of receipt of the mail was also received by us you are requested to kindly get out meter tested immediately to redress our grievance.

                  Bill No.[protected] for Rs. 599.16 was paid against protest.

                  This month again we have got a bill for Rs. 859.82 which in no way matches our normal consumption and the same is not being paid till the time our grievance is redressed.

                  You are once again, requested to look to our complaint on priority, failing which we shall be constrained to approach the proper quarters or even the consumer forum.

                  Hi,

                  We have opeted for new Gas pipeline connection and till now the connection has not been made active at our place.

                  I am really sorry to say that your dealer service is way very poor and they are not competitive enough to interact with the customers. They havent turned out for the connection and have a very very poor quality of language communication.

                  We regret to opt for the pipeline conection as since last 4 days we are just chasing them for the connection and till now its not been done. I must say that the cylinder service is much better than this.

                  I am pissed off with your service and am going to take this up to consumer forum as we opt for better services for convenience and not for harassment and unprofessionalism.

                  We DO NOT wish to go with this connection anymore and want our money refund ASAP.

                  IGL GAS — not installed after one year

                  I had applied a PNG connection on 27-Feb-2011, form no. 967340 & deposited the 6 thousand rupees on same day. I was promised that connection would be installed within 6 months but after passing 9 months, I am not getting any response from IGL after my continuous follows up with IGL peoples.
                  I had also requested to connect my home to IGL pipe line when digging work was going on in front of my house & send a fax also in your office but I did not get any response at that time also; I have receipt copy of that fax too.
                  I would like to know; if a repudiated company like an IGL do like this with their customer what would be for other private companies.
                  Pl. notes that lot of connection has been installed within 4 months also but my connection is not installed till now after passing 11 month.
                  Now I would like to know how you would compensate me because I had applied the connection for a specific purpose at that time but now purpose has been diffused.

                  This is to bring to your notice, i Jasmeet Singh Nayyar, resident of Rajouri Garden.. applied for IGL GAS connection few months back and all the piping along with Meter has been successfully installed and tested at our resident about couple of months back. However, connection has not been active till date due to some local area politics played by some people in our area where IGL engineer Mr. Siddiqui is involved too.

                  I did lodge one complaint at your customer service PRJ [protected] where i got the feedback that my house is not having proper ventilation.

                  Please note, we live in DDA FLATS and our Flats are constructed as per DDA guidelines and they have PROPER VENTILATION.

                  As a customer of IGL, i humbly request you to send some senior person who should see the ventilation and process it accordingly.

                  Please note, we are not only the sufferers here, its only 4 flats who are facing this issue due to local politics played in our area where your engineer Mr. Siddiqui is involved too.

                  When asked from the customer care when was the visit made by your concerned person reg. ventilation then they had no clue and as per our best knowledge no one from IGL had visited us to check for ventilation.

                  1.I received the bill vide mobile message in Dec13 for due amount Rs. 6250.17, bill no.[protected], dated 19.12.13 showing consumption from 23.9.13 to 15.11.13 for 54 days as 124.79 (i.e. 2.3109259/day) to which I lodged complaints for highly inflated consumption compared to my history may be due to repeated over reading of meter due to faulty meter or leakage in gas pipeline resulting in highly inflated bill vide your bill no.[protected], dated 17.1.14 &[protected], dated 22.01.14
                  2.My First complaint no. ONM[protected], Second Complaint No. ONM[protected], dated 04.01.13 and third Complaint No. ONM[protected], dated 20.1.13 and fourth complaint no. ONM[protected], dated 30.1.14 regarding highly inflated consumption billing-to which my first simply disposed at site without assigning any reason and second, third and fourth complaints still reflecting but I am getting the bills still vide no.[protected], dated 17.1.14 &[protected], dated 22.01.14 showing highly inflated consumption and amount even though I requested to get the over reading meter, pipe line checked for faulty, leakage or any foul play whereas I already got my stoves checked twice and everything is perfect in it .
                  3.I would like to clear the bills immediately without any penalties as I did not get previous bills and when I got inflated consumption showing bills then immediately I lodged above complaints .Therefore again I request you to pl resolve my compliant for repeated over reading of meter due to faulty meter or leakage in gas pipeline resulting in highly inflated bill vide your bill no.[protected], dated 17.1.14 &[protected], dated 22.01.14 and I would also concurrently request immediate CNG gas disconnection as this has become a big pain, anxiety & harassment with insecurity for abrupt disconnection.

Almost a time period of 3 and half months is going to be over but I did not hear anything from the authorities. Also tried to contact IGL control/complaint rooms many times but of no avail. As PNG supply is already there in my block, it is a question of mere connection but nobody is ready to listen to me.                     Sir, is the response like a reputed IGL Co. should be like this when the question is just to connect the line with kitchen.

                        I applied for PNG gas connection on[protected] vide IGL application form No.190555 along with Cheque of Rs.5000/-, there is no any condition of install the meter in kitchen on the form of this application now the contractor says that "meter will be install in kitchen otherwise submit you should your cancellation form" I says that Meter install in my premises not in kitchen due to there will be ladies in the kitchen when meter reader will come at the reading time so I say the meter install out side the kitchen due to any miss happening during the meter reading time.
                        Now I request you for guide the contractor for install meter out side the kitchen. As per condition of installation the extra pipe consumed in the process as per norms I will pay the extra amount.

                          I also want to share a similar experience I am facing with Indraprastha Gas limited.

                          I had registered for a PNG connection in Feb this year through your representative agency Yogmaya & Co. The registration no given is 126958 and the BP no is [protected]. I had given cash of Rs 300/- and a cheque for 5000/- (cheque no 539689, dated 11.2.09). Unfortunately this cheque got dishonoured. Then I again gave a cheque for Rs 5100 ( cheque no: 504022, dated 21.4.09) and this amount has been debited from my bank account in April itself.

                          However, I am yet to receive the PNG connection. The supply is already on in our society and many flats have been using your service since March’09. The constant response received from your helpline and customer care number is that the case is pending and the connection would be given by next month, however four months have already passed and I have not heard anything yet.

                          I am sure you would agree that this sort of delay and not being intimated the waiting time results in considerable mental stress and also the fact that your company is earning a good interest on the security deposit for such pending cases while the customer even after paying the amount has no clue on how much more he needs to wait.

                          You are requested to confirm by when we can expect the installation to happen.

                            i have applied car loan. everything is fine but at last they people said that your name is in cibil so you dont get the loan.But i dont know what is cibil.                             I am facing the same issue. My cheques were cleared in october, but yet no connection is provided, i live in shalimar garden, sahibabad. No responses from the customer care.
                            Customer care is full of anddo not know what they are talking about.
                            I am also facing the same problem. It is more than four months I have been following up with the Customer Care of IGL in vain for a PNG connection in Janak Puri. My B.P. No. IS [protected] and request No. is PRJ [protected]. I also applied thru Yog Maya & Co. My cheques of rS. 5000/- & Rs. 1000/- have been cleared in December'11 itself. I do not know what should I do and whom should I approach. All my neibhours are already using PNG for the last 2 years now. They have just to connect my flat with the main pipe line already available. Still it is taking so long. Can any one suggest whom should I approach now.

                              For PNG my registration no. is 4621 dated[protected] provided by Yogmaya & Co. (DMA of IGL), which stated that the connection would be provided within three months maximum time. Yogmaya & Co. (DMA of IGL) kept sitting over my cheque for 1.5 months and got encashed by your company only on[protected].

                              Thereafter, B. P. No. [protected] was provided in the first week of April 2009 and the person delivering the same stated that within a month the connection would be provided.

                              In May 2009, I made many calls to your customer care no. [protected] / 64543592, however, the phone bells keep ringing and nobody pick up the phone. After trying for days together and investing more than five hours, someone picked up the phone on 64543592, however, the answers to any query regarding providing connection was at best evasive. After much talks, he asked me to call on phone no. 46074855. Again after trying for number of hours somehow, somebody picked up the phone and again asked me to call on marketing phone no. 65286536, wherein again a different phone no. 64614334 was provided and I was asked to talk.

                              After investing days and hours, someone provided me with phone [protected]/45/39/43 and asked to talk with Mr. Anil / Dharmender / Chandan who are the contractor for providing the PNG Connection. Again, after repeated trying either, the phone was found to be switched off or if the bells ringed the phone was disconnected without talking. Finally, I had talks with Mr. Dharmender and Anil, who again were evasive about providing PNG Connection within a reasonable time citing lack of Meters or Pipes and so on and so forth. When I told them that they are already providing the PNG Connection to many persons in our Society who had applied much after myself, their reply was quite evasive.

                              Somehow, a worker from your company reached at about 10.00 AM in the third week of May and told that they would make the necessary connection that day itself. After inspection of the kitchen, he went away saying that their Engineer has not arrived, and hence, they would come for connection after sometime. Thereafter, nobody came back the same day.

                              Thereafter, I waited till[protected], however, none came for providing necessary connection.

                              On 25th June 2009, I again called your customer care no. [protected] / 64543592, again [protected] kept on ringing and nobody picked up the phone for considerable time. Then I called on 64543592, the person stated that connection would be made within ten days, however, again he asked me to call the contractor at phone no. [protected]/45/39/43 and asked me to talk with Mr. Anil / Dharmender / Chandan.

                              Phone no. [protected]/45 were found switched off. On phone 39 and 43 Mr. Anil and Dharmender picked up and again they were quite evasive about connection stating that it may take one or more month. On repeated request, Mr. Anil told me that he is driving and would call me on 25th June 2009. However, no phone call received from Mr. Anil.

                              Again on 25th June 2009, I made call at [protected], which was repeatedly disconnected by the persons picking up the phone. Again I had to call on 64543592 and lodge my request for connection.

                              There is another side to the sorry state of affairs in your company. I called your customer care a number of times for new connection between May 2008 to October 2008; every time I was told that new connections are closed and would open after a month. In November 2008 to January 2009 I made more than 50 calls and every time I was told that my request has been lodged and e-mail has been sent to contractor, who would visit my place for collection of new connection fee; I repeatedly inquired that if there is any office of IGL where I can personally pay the fee for new connection, I was told that there is none, and the fee are collected by only agents. None came in three months time for collection of fee from me.

                              Around last week of January 2009, I found somebody providing new connection in my society and on request he told me that your customer care is of no use, I should personally call the contractor and he provided me the phone number of contractor, who on repeated request and calls from last week of January to 18th February 2009 came to collect the fee on 19th Feb 2009.

                              I may tell you that, your entire setup including your Customer Care and Contractors are negligent and fraudulent who does not know and understand professionalism.

                              There is no central setup to whom a person can lodge his requests / complaints and keep peace. Customer Care no. [protected] / 64543592 are either found switched off for hours together or if fortunately it rings, nobody picks up, if picked up – it is disconnected without talks, if somebody is nice to talk, the reply are all evasive. All the persons keep on providing phone no after phone no and mostly the phones are either found switched off or disconnected after picking up without talks, if someone is nice enough to talk, he simply says he can do nothing except making e-mail to contractor who prima facie only works when bribed.

                              IGL does not look into the complaint. They are habitual of ignoring consumer. They will learn the lession when penalities be imposed on IGL.

                              I have one example, my nighbour got the connection about a year back. But they have not connected the meter with pipe line. They are making calls to them, IGL persons are responding that they will come in a day or two.

                              My bill on 15.4.2010 was 38.5 SCM. On 15.8.2010, the bill is 295 SCM. I checked my meter on 20.9.2010, it is showing something 100008 M3. I do'nt know what it is?

                              I called IGL, they said metered bill is OK.
                              FROM TEN TO ELEVEN MONTH WE CONTINUE APPLY FOR NEW CONNECTION OF PNG AT PHONE NO[protected] BUT NO RESPONSE WILL COME .ON PHONE THEY WILL SAY THAT EXECUITVE WILL COME AT HOME WITH REG FORM. BUT NOBODY WILL COME TILL DATE. SO, PLEASE TAKE SERIOUS ACTION. SO THAT MY NEW CONNECTION WILL CONFIRM
                              IGL, it seems, gives a damn to the people in general.
                              It is, very unfortunately, in a monopoly position despite there being Competition Commission of India which looks at low competition even where there is competition.
                              Here is a case, my own experience today, where no customer care line is working - responding is the right word. You get connected at 45195959 but no response.
                              It is a shame that despite so many complaints over the years ( check the internet and there is enough mind boggling proof of that) nothing has change.
                              A time will come, when they MUST go the MTNL and BSNL way and die away. Let the employees who do not bother and give too hoots be hooted every where and struggle to survive just as they are making their customers of today.
                              Shame on the Govt and shame on the management..

The chq.was collected in the ist week of jan, 2011 with the wording of the booking staff that the connection will be installed by may, 2011. Now, it's the end of aug. and even the pipe wiring has not been done. Those who have applied in the later months has got the connections done with proper supply of gas.
                              I want to know from the authorities concerned what is the criteria for installation of PNG. Can someone let me know by when will the PNG stalled ?

                                We have submitted the sum of Rs.5000/- with Yog Maya & company in the month of december and till today we are just getting delay in the connection. We have tried to get in touch with the senior officials in IGL, R.K.Puram office and they are just giving us work around that need to contact the JE and contractor. Also those people are not giving any satisfactory answer.

                                The main thing is this that they are not afraid of if we tell them that we are filing case against them in the consumer court. They are completely shameless people and trying to make people fool.

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  We gave Rs 5300/- for new PNG connection to IGL on January 27th, 2009 and was promised the connection within 30 - 45 days.
                                  After waiting for two full months, we got back to them enquiring about the status of the connection as nothing had happened till then. Then within couple of days, the pipeline was fixed and nothing happened. We called up again after a week and then the metre was installed. The mechanics said that a team of engineers would check the connection for leakage and the connection would be activated immediately.
                                  The engineers visited after a week and everything was found to be in place and we were promised the connection the next day itself. All these transpired within the first week of March and nothing has happened since.
                                  We called up IGL and registered a complaint (No. 106976) and they promised attendance within a day. But nothing has happened and every time we call up, they keep blaming their agencies or distributors or contractors. But as far as we are concerned, money was paid to IGL and it is their responsibility as we are customers of IGL and not anybody else.
                                  Kindly use the powers vested in you to redress customer complaints and please take up this matter with immediate effect.

                                  I would bring to your kind notice that I have booked a connection with you on 24.4.2011, vide receipt no-19703, in the name of Sh.Bhushan Lal Dewan R/o 30/17 III rd Floor, Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi-110060.Form No-985865 Dated 24.4.2011.

                                  The Payment was made through State Bank of India Janpath Branch Through Cheque no-249141 And 249142 for Rs.1000/- and Rs.5000/-.

                                  All the resident of my block has been installed with the connection only my house has been left without the connection.I was in contact with your agency that is doing the installation work, but they are not giving satisfactory answer.I had talked with Mr.Ranjan on Phone no-[protected].

                                  Kindly Check & do the needful.

                                  IGL installed new connection in 3 flats of our society (849, Sector-5, Vaishali, Ghaziabad, UP) but nobody came back to clear up the mess that they create after digging all over the place. There are tiles and mud lying all over the place. When we call them, they keep saying that it would be done in a day or two. But nothing happens and everybody keeps bassing the buck to others. The customer care asks to contact the Control Room and they keeps giving you the contact numbers of different Contractors, one of them being Abhi Jain but eventually nothing has happened this far. They should be taken to Consumer Court for all this..!

                                    I Sachin kumar consumer of LPG Gas - Indraprasth Gas Agency, Station Road, Chutia, Ranchi-834001, Jharkhand.
                                    The agency provide the phone booking faciluty having number[protected].
                                    But when the office will open 10.00am they are engage thier phone all the time. i am trying all the day and time or more then 1000 times (its really more then 1000 time) to call for book my gas but giving result " The customer is busy in another Line please wait or call later".
                                    If they can't book gas through phone then they don't provide the number.
                                    Kindly take action as soon as possible against them.

                                      to whomsoever it may concern

                                      i am a resident of Dwarka sector 4 . IGL company which provides bio-gas to households has dug-up the footpath all along the service-lane on the main road to lay down some lines. they haven't restored the condition of the footpath to walking condition. it is in a very horrible condition and waling has become impossible.
                                      i hope you will do something for it and help restore the footpaths to a good condition.

                                      I am resident of Punjabi Bagh Aptts.(DDA-SFS) Rohtak Road New Delhi. The Indraprasth Gas Ltd. have dug up the service lane and the inside area of the complex in order to underlay gas pipe but till date they have not restored the affected area of lane and of the complex to the original condition. The dug up spots(potholes) had been summarily filled in with the earth which has sunk down during rains, making them deep enough for any body to get fall in and prone to serious accident if, on vehicle .
                                      2. Hope, the matter will receive your urgent attention to restore the condition of the service lane as also the affected area of the complex in view of the rains likely to make the situation rather worst.

                                      This is to bring in your kind notice that I Sailesh Sawhney resident of BA-31, Shalimar Bagh,
                                      Delhi-110088 has applies for obtaining a PNG connection vide Reg. Form No. 322063 dt. 30.12.09.
                                      A Cheque bearing No. 725317 dt 30.12.09 amounting Rs 5000/- drawn at Nainital Bank Ltd.
                                      Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088 has also been issued by me in favour of Indraprastha Gas Ltd.
                                      But it is regretted to write that till date No PNG Connection has been installed at my premises despite
                                      many telephonically requests made vide complaints.
                                      It is therefore requested to kindly install PNG connection at the earliest as the
                                      occupant of other units have already get their PNG Connection.

                                        Fraud at CNG Stations

                                        Sir,

                                        I am a CNG user and drive an eco fuel car.Now, you would appreciate that when it is a petrol car and you intend to fill the fuel, you normally use currency conventions, as in filling 500/= or 1000/= fuel an so there is no direct loss of consumer.

                                        In the case of CNG, generally the consumers go for filling upto the capacity as it saves time and also the cost of filling a 12 Kg clylinder is never above 225...
