[Resolved] Indusind Bank — Abnormal Late Penalty and Interest charges on Credit Card Late Payment | |
Is inform you that I had received Credit Card Statement from INDUSIND BANK for the period 04/07/2021 to 03/08/2021. Mentioning Interest & Other Charges as Rs.1126.91. I have forgot to pay the credit card payment on 23/07/2021. However, I have paid the amount on 29/07/2021. ie a delay of 6 days. I was abnormally charged Rs.1126 for default of payment of Rs.4356, which is about 26% of the bill Amount. I had already requested their customer care for waiver of Interest, Penalty and other charges on 11/08/2021. After 4 days, I came for know that my request was not approved. How can the Bank charge about 26% for a Bill Amount of Rs.4356/- for late payment of 6 days. I have asked the Bank for the break-up per day penalty and the procedure for charging such abnormal penalty. Please look into the matter. It is difficult to pay such abnormal charges during this covid-19 period, as the job and financial condition of every individual is worse. Was this information helpful? | |
