Hello,
This is regarding my application for a/c opening with Indusind bank at Gurgaon.
I got a call from customer care to reconfirm my application. A Lady on phone was gentle and courteous . She told me that you will get a call from nearest branch to collect the documents and will share more info. I said that's cool.
Next day I got a call from a gentleman says yes we will get your docs collected. I said I want to avail locker facility as well, as I requested earlier.
He said sure I will give you a call back on this.he called me up and said there already some applications are in que for locker, we can give you one but you need to invest with us. I said is this mandatory then he said it's not but we can fasten you locker request and will definitely provide you one if you invest somway around 50k.
I said as I really need one locker so I am agree and afford to do a FD of rupees 25k. He said I need to check with my boss.
Then he call me back says, fine Saransh you can invest 25k in a insurance policy in which you have to pay 25000 per year !!! Then after 3 years you don't need to pay anything. Company will pay on your behalf.
I said then I don't need locker, he replied then we can't even open your account and after that no one contacted me yet.
My sincere apology if I am using any bad language but I wrote this email to bring this into your kind notice that some of your employees are making fun of Liberty as you empower them.
It's really not acceptable from one of my favorite bank. This kind of ruthless and greedy behaviour need to be report at the earliest.
Appreciate if you can take necessary action and let me know your further action.
