I am to inform you that on 10/10/2015, ms sangita das bearing phone number [protected] an employee of indusind bank, bhangagarh branch, g s road, guwahati-05, assam had approached me for fixed deposit in her bank. She was known to me since she was with icici bank. So faith was there to hand over money and accordingly on 13/10/15 while she approached me for the fixed deposit, i had handed over an amount of rs 1, 00, 000/- ( rupees one lakh) only by self cheque of punjab national bank bearing no. 872581 for the fixed deposit. On 21/10/15 she handed over me the fixed deposit certificate and a deposit slip of the bank duly stamped and signed, a copy of each is enclosed herewith as ready reference. I came to know from one of my earlier colleague that they also had done fixed deposits and those deposit certificates issued & handed over by her of indusind bank to them was said to be fake as revealed by your officials and also revealed that those certificates were not issued by them. So on 19/02/16 when i went to their bank with my fixed deposit certificate it was said that my certificate amounting to rs 114753.00 ( rupees one lakh fourteen thousand seven hundred fifty three) including interest was said to be fake by their bank officials and they have not issued the same. I then lodged a formal complaint in this regard on 19/02/16 about the incident revealing all the facts. But the bank employees seems to give a deaf ear and even they refused to give a receipt of the letter which i had handed over to them as complaint. They told me that the employee has been terminated 8 months back and based on which they are trying to avoid the incident. I therefore finding no solution formally lodged this complaint to your forum as to get a amicable solution. I am enclosing herewith a copy of deposit slip and the certificate issued to me.
