Indusind Bank — lien on my account and credit card blocked. unethical and unauthorised behaviour. cheating. fraud

I am a 37 year old woman resident of new delhi. Unfortunately i’ve not had a job for the past 6 months. However i have been somehow or the other managing my funds and payments for various credit cards and loans to my best capacity. Parallel to this i have been living at bare minimum.in june 2019 i joined a company and worked for a mere amount of 45000 just to ensure that i am able to suffice my emi’s and credit card payments. I hold a savings bank account and a credit card with indusind bank. The credit limit of my card is 1 lac. However due to various extra charges and interest accrual, this amount has risen to 1, 13, 000 approx.in may it was 1, 11, 000 approx. And therefore i paid rs 11, 000 so that the card comes within the limit.in the next statement, again the balance rose up to 1, 13, 000 approx. This time when the collections team called me, i asked for help, as this way if the interest keeps piling up, i will never be able to clear the card. So the representative advised me after much research and approvals at his end, that i should not make any payment on this card until 11 june. He insisted that i should not pay until 11 june and then i can pay rs 5000 and also call the customer service to get the card balance converted into emis. I categorically told him that i would only have money when i get my salary that would be in the first week of july 2019. He said that’s alright as the card is very much active. Then on 4th july 2019, when i received rs 45, 000 from the company, i straight away headed to the bank to deposit the money with an intention to clear all my pending payments. Just then i got a call from the collections team of indusind credit card, and the lady asked me about the payment status. I told her that i am presently at the bank only and by evening i will do the rtgs. Then i went ahead and deposited the money at the indusind branch at first india place, gurgaon. Immediately after that i made a withdrawal from the same bank atm to check. Post that, while i was returning to delhi at around 5.45 pm, i decided to stop at the hp fuel station. Got the petrol filled and then gave my debit card which was declined. I was shocked as i just deposited 45000 in the account. When i checked the balance, it showed zero.in a state of panic, i first called my friend to pay the petrol pump through paytm. Fortunately, she managed to help me. It was already a great humiliation and embarrassment by then that i had to face at the petrol pump. 15 minutes after that i called the customer service team and spoke to the floor supervisor sandeep, who listened to the entire thing and had no answer. He said that the bank has put lien on my account and held all my money against the credit card dues. He also mentioned that the lien has been put by the collections department. I then called, manoj pandey, ph no [protected], landline number[protected]. Manoj pandey is the collections head. While i narrated him what happened and that i am in a big problem, he said he is unable to help me as the bank has closed now and will do something about it the next day.in the meantime the customer service supervisor called me. Just after 1 or 2 rings the call got disconnected. When i called back, i was told he’s busy and i was on hold for 20 minutes. Then he told me that he has spoken to the collections team and they have refused to release my money until i clear the entire credit card payment of 1, 13, 000. Next on the 5th july 2019, i called manoj pandey to resolve this. As he declared and said that we will not release the amount, i asked him why did they not send me a notice that my account is on hold or i immediately need to clear the entire card balance, before this action was taken from the bank. His reply to this was shocking. He said if we intimate you then you will never put the money in the bank. And then he said that now we have sent you a notice that if you do not clear the entire balance in 7 days then we will take your 45000 and the card is anyways blocked permanently. I requested him that i cannot pay the entire amount together so convert this in emi’s and release my money. He straightaway refused and said do what you want to but we will not release any money. He was atrociously rude and his tone was such of a dictator rather than a bank employee.
As a woman, as an indian citizen, as someone facing a financial crisis right now, as a human, i am highlighting this issue and i want every single person to be aware of this. I ask the higher authorities of this country……. Is this the way to deal with customers who honestly declare their incomes, bank with the banks thinking our money is safe, and do not run away and do frauds when they are in a financial crisis and have full intent to pay the credit cards and loans through one or the other way
1. In the past indusind bank broke my tax saving fd, which they declared as a system error. For this i had given a written complaint at the gk2 branch and then the issue was resolved in a month’s time.
2. Once again, i had all my trust in indusind bank, therefore i deposited my hard earned money in the bank.
3. I received cash from my employer, which i honestly went ahead to deposit in the bank as the government also wants us to declare our cash incomes and use digital banking
4. My last payment on the credit card was in may 2019 for rs 11, 000.
5. I was clearly told that the credit card is active and i can convert it into emis post 11 june.
6. I trusted the collections team which ultimately framed me in this whole thing
7. I had to pay my 2 other emis for 10000 and 12000 each and then this credit card payment for 19000, and the remaining 4000 i would have used for my personal and home expense until i got the next salary.
8. Indusind bank has put a lien on the entire 43000 in my account which they are refusing to release.
9. I have not been given any intimation or notice from the bank that my account is in debit balance and that the bank is going to permanently block my credit card also
10. On top of that the bank did not hold a minimum amount. It swept my entire balance.
11. And they are not even trying to resolve this.
12. I even told them that release the amount and then take a payment of the minimum amount from me as i am facing a financial problem right now
13. I have complete intent to my pay my credit card but they have permanently blocked it, once again without any notice
Please think if you were in this situation, where the bank itself steals your money and is not answerable, then what would you do. How will you even eat. How will you survive the month. How will you pay your child’s fees. How will you commute. How will you pay your phone bill…… for that matter how will you do anything. It is absolutely so inhuman that a trusted entity like a bank steals your money and forces and blackmails you to pay the entire credit card balance at one go, even when you have requested to pay in parts and intent to pay. I believe financial crisis is something we all face at one point or the other and it’s not a criminal offence. Who gives bank the authority to touch your money without a notice. Who gives bank the right to block the credit card on which the last payment was made in may 2019.
Indusind bank has humiliated, harassed and mentally torchured me in the past 3 days to an extent that i cannot describe further. Indusind bank apparently is the most horrible bank i’ve ever dealt with.

My father withdrawn 10000 rupees from indusind bank atm, the money has been deducted from the account but didn't get cash from the machine. My father's atm card is sbi and he withdrawn money from indusind bank atm. can anyone please help what to do next.
I am also facing same issue with indusind bank,

Due to covid 19 situation I was not getting my complete salary, so I told bank to convert my transactions into EMI but bank said we don't have EMI offer for you

1) I have 3 other credit card where i have facilities that I can convert my transactions into EMI but Indusind provides that facilities when bank feels like

2) after informing that I will pay my bill after salary they use that as opportunity and applied lien just before my salary

3)after raising more than half the credit card bill bank only debit their minimum statement amount so that they can earn money by adding up interest rate

4) when I said to bank that I don't have any other bank account for payment of credit card and avail my account for payment they said they cannot help, I am still having more than 22k in my account and they are not allowing me to pay my credit card bill either.

5) after writing so many mail to MD and CEO bank doesn't care about reply to customer.

Now I am going to pay the complete amount and will change my salary account and will close this one.

I will never suggest anyone to have relationship will indusind or HGS.

Even I'm also facing the same issue. I have already paid my credit card bill and the customer support team told that the lien will be removed within 2 weeks. Its been 2 months now but till now the lien is not removed and didn't heard back anything from customer support team. Now a days i'm not even able to contact the customer support team. For collecting money, this IndusInd customer support is very efficient. they will do whatever it takes to collect the payment.Each and every day they will call you and give torture, but when it comes to their responsibility, they are not even ready to provide solution. I have never seen such a worst support team.
