Hi, this is Binita Brahma. I had purchased a gift item (1 of New Born Baby Care Hamper (Multicolor) worth Rs 2750) from infibeam website on 26.12.2013 (order no.[protected] for which they had confirmed and given an estimated delivery date of 03.01.2014. The address given was for Guwahati and was addressed to my brother. It was confirmed by their website that they deliver for pin code 781014, only after which the delivery was placed. The courier they had assigned was M/s Professional. On 04.01.2014 the Guwahati branch of the courier called my brother on the mobile number given along with the address and asked him to personally pick up the parcel from their office as they stated that they do not have service for the given pin code and they refused to deliver the parcel at home (which was the address on parcel). It was mentioned home delivery in their website but the courier person refusing to deliver at home. If at all there is no service for that pin code, it was not mentioned in their website when I checked it under “check delivery in my pin-code” box? However, I complained about the problem to infibeam customer service two days in a row both by calling and by e-mail. I was told on phone that I will be contacted soon which has never happened and reply to my email was never received. Not even a confirmation ticket that they have received my email complaint. As my brother refused to pick up parcel from the courier's given location, there is no trace of the parcel as yet. On 09.01.2014, I wrote a message to their Facebook page to which they replied that they are escalating the delivery. But today it's 15.01.2014. Still no one from Infibeam has tried to contact me or tell me the status of the parcel. Kindly consider my problem. Thanks. Was this information helpful? |
