Insurance Institute Of India — credit points system

Dear sir

I have been coordinating with the institute regarding my credit points for following subjects.
1. Ic 78 miscellaneous insurance
2. Ic -72 motor insurance
3. Ic 77 engineering insurance.

I have cleared the above subjects in may 2014.in march 2019 these subjects have been withdrawn unreasonably from my result sheet saying that validity of these subjects have expired.

According to the attached guidelines of iii, the validly of credit points expires exactly after 5 years form the passing date of the subject, the above guideline stipulates the validity of the credit points as

Validity of credit points:
I. Credit points of subjects passed prior to may-12 will be valid up to 31.03.2017. The credit
Point validity for passed subject will remain for a period of 5 years from date of passing

In view of the above, the withdrawal of credit points are against the iii’s guidelines, hence requesting you to check the reality of this case and approve for reinstating the credit points in order to avail my associateship.

This year in may i have cleared following 2 subjects
• (Ic-46) general insurance accounts and regulation of investment
• (Ic-74) liability insurance

With these 2 passes i have qualify for the associate ship with total credit points of 290, but due to sudden withdrawal of above 3 subjects my credit points stands at 200, hence seek your intervention to reinstate my credit points & grand me the certificate for the associate ship.

Still i believe i’m within the guidelines of iii to claim my credit points and continue my studies towards fellowship.
