Dear Sir/Mam,
I m writing on behalf of my mother that we are waiting for the payment of surrender amount of Policy No. U[protected].
I visited the Borivali branch on 25 April 2012 with my mother and father to surrender the said policy and avail whatsoever amount.
We were told that the policy is automatically surrendered, regarding which we were unaware, still our documents were taken and receipt was provided. And along with that we also gave documents for address and contact updation, which is not updated yet.
After submitting these documents we have visited Borivali branch many times and have called up customer care 3-4 times but all in vain.
Its been 8 months, we have got one reply from Tata AIA customer care but that also for seeking certain information from me. The information sought was in the policy documents, which were already submitted by us.
Why is it taking so long from them to identify and pay back our amount to us.
