[Resolved]  Intellipaat — Unethical practice !! Using IIT Madras name to sell digital marketing course

Applying for fees refund from Intellipaat Edutech company, which offering Online course I joined online course after seeing online ads advertised as, Advanced Certification in Digital Marketing and Analytics by IIT Madras. Course Duration 6 months, Classes every Saturday and Sunday 8 pm to 11pm Course fees 70, 000 paid advance through Bajaj Finance Loan I did full payment through Bajaj Finance one day before class started on 21st May and I attained class on 21st and 22nd May. During first 2 days I saw this online course not delivering quality content and am not satisfied by this course.
1. The course content is very basic, I joined this course to learn advice digital marketing techniques
2. This course was conducted through power point presentation, Its should have been practical classes, as in digital marketing without practical classes students will not gain much, Its not helpful while working on live projects.
3. This course was advertised in the name of premier institute IIT Madras and it will be conducted by IIT Madras professors. I didn't see an IIT professor taking Digital marketing classes. However, the class was taken by digital marketing manager from some private company.
4. The course is very basic without any practical demo online. The content covered in this course will not help me as I Joined here to learn advanced digital marketing technical subject.
5. Most of the students are unhappy with this course, their is no practical classes they have taken, sames topics been covered by different-different teachers..
6. Students and teachers argue / fight during live class over same topics taught again and again, as it's not adding any value to students.
7. Intellipaat has unethical business practices. Once they full advance fees and once they take money from student they do not refund, even if students are not happy with the quality of course.
8. I applied for course cancellation within 7 days of purchase and just attained 2 classes, now Intellipaat is not refunding fees.
9. I have taken loan from Bajaj Finance, by not paying the loan amount my CIBIL score will go down and it will spoil my financial reputation.
10. I have 20 years of work experience and I have an excellent CIBIL score, I maintain my financial reputation and I dont want to spoil it because this new edutech company is fooling us with the name IIT Madras. I searched feedback from other students, most of them has the same feedback. further I searched online for more review and feedbacks on Intellipaat.

12. Its a new type of edutech scam, they start online courses in the name of a premier institute and take heavy fees like 75 thousand to 1 lakh, then provide very basic classes through some company managers.
13. They don't refund money once paid to them. Lot of students are suffering as they put hard earned money to gain new age skills but they type of edutech company are not delivering justice to students, they trap these innocents students and these students are in losing on time and money, In case they dont pay loan, its will affect CIBIL score and impact their future prospects.

I would request the consumer court to help me get refund, secondly there should be a policy for all new edutech companies to provide quality education and in case any student is not happy with the course they should get a full refund.
