[Resolved]  Aircel Limited, — Poor Speed and Misleading Customer Support

Hello ,

Recently I have recharged my number [protected] with Aircel 198 2g/3g package ..Things was fine till I reach the FUP then the speed dropped to 30 kbps .. instead of 128 kbps ( thats how mentioned on the Website / Recharge portal ) I have tried to reach customer care from my other number All i got is some irrelevant information about the nw issues and it will be fixed in few hours . so i tried after few hours and things remained same .I have no other option gave a call back to customer support ,, and they continued saying the same reason that they are having some nw issues .. the worst part is they have blocked my number to reach customer support portal if I tried to make a call to inquire about the speed it never reaches the voice support instead some IVR keep saying "all our executives are busy you can send messages for help" ??? is this how Aircel handle its customer for seek for information ?? after a week of continuous attempt and after several misguidance ,, finally they revealed the code that speed wil be dropped to 64 kb instead of 128 kp .. is this fair ?? but the tariff plan says " Your speed will be reduced to 128kbps"...?? why is that so ..?? why not the 64kb information is not on the recharge portal ?? THIS IS NO GOOD ,, AIRCEL SHOULD STOP MAKING FAKE PROMISES ON THE PORTAL AND THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT FRONT ,, THIS COULD BE MY WORST EXPERIENCE THAT I EVER HAD WITH TELECOM INDUSTRY

Aircel — Poor in Customer Support

Sir,
I'm using Aircel Postpaid. Am living in rural area near Gobi in Erode District in ROTN Circle. Already we have low coverage. But last two weeks (from May 15, 2008) network also poor. Callnot connected easily. We've to try 5 to 10 times to catch a call. What a beauty is whenever i called customer Care [protected] or [protected] the IVRS told "U r in queue or Our customer care officers are busy with other calls ". Till now am not getting success to reach customer support.
not only tower problem, they are cheating bill generate also. i am using the connection past 3 yrs. last 3 months back aircel person called me and they offer me a century bonanza plan in postpaid. i changed into that plan. at the same time brought a new mobile, they told me 300 minutes free calls. but the bill is extradinary. the customer care also dont know how they are billing for this plan.
now i pay nearly 700 rs for a month. they are cheating ...

Aircel — misleading

i have activated one dialer tune in my aircel prepaid connection and they charged for it.There is a option provided by the company to change the dialer tune song.So i want to change the song according to the legal procedure but they showing "please try after some times"more than fifty times. Even they don't run any songs(dialer tune) after the activation,they played another music which is for the companys advertisement.
I am sure there is a some technical glitch here. Why don’t you get to the nearest Aircel store and get assistance from the technical guys present there. I must tell you they a real help and do you give you some awesome tips too….

Aircel — Misleading the customers

Hi,

Aircel is cheating its customers.
I am an Aircel prepaid customer with mobile #[protected]. On 18/12/2010 when I checked my balance I got a pop up from Aircel informing that if I recharge by dialing *122*1400# from my mobile I will get unlimited internet for 3 days by paying 14 rupees from my balance. I recharged as informed assuming that Aircel will offer me services as promised, but after browsing for a couple of hours I realized that all my balance was deducted by Aircel. When I try to register a complaint the Aircel Agent informs me that the offer was revised as to a limit of 250 mb per recharge on 05/12/2010, but this was not informed to the customers and that I can't register my complaint for my balance refund. Aircel is still cheating the customers by reflecting wrong information even now in its messages when you check your balance by dialing *125# as if you recharge with 14 rupees by dialing *122*1400# you will get unlimited internet for 3 days on your mobile. If the terms and conditions were revised why is Aircel still cheating its innocent customers by reflecting misleading information on its response messages and why was this not communicate to the customers.
