[Resolved]  IRB Infrastructure — Double toll take intationaly

I have today travelling on at vadodara toll tax of vadodara-ahmedabad expressway. The toll boy had given me a toll ticket for rs. 210.00 instead of 105.00.

Also toll manager behaving rudely as a name: mahendra ganguly

And also car no noted wrong intentionaly : gj06bl9404 instead of gj06lb9406

I have already travel alternative in same route but this issue happen first time. This is intense to done due to car no wrong noted.

Also complaint 1033 as per provide complaint number 2154068.

Copies of both normal price and double price the collection is attached below.

Dear Sir,

We are in receipt of your email dated: 30.06.20 regarding Double toll taken intentionally at Vadodara Toll Plaza.

At the outset, we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you. We would like to inform that the matter has been investigated by us and clarify as under:

1. User fee at toll plazas is collected as per National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008 and notification issued by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

2. As per Gazette Notification G.S.R. 298, the vehicle not fitted with “FASTag” or vehicle without valid, functional “FASTag” entering into “FASTag lane” of the Fee plazas shall pay a fee equivalent to two times of the fee applicable to that category of vehicles as per sub-rule (2) of rule 4”.

3. Kindly note that you have entered in FASTag lane No 5 at Vadodara Toll, hence the double toll fees has been rightly charged as per said notification.

4. With respect to wrong vehicle number mentioned on toll receipt, disciplinary action has been taken on concerned staff.
