I booked a ticket (PNR No. [protected]) in 3rd AC by Orissa Sampark Kranti Express ( from New Delhi to Jajpur Keonjhar Road) for 3 of my family members for their journey on 29.05.2015. On the evening of 28.05.2015, I received a SMS from IRCTC on my mobile that the train No. 12820 Orissa Sampark Krant scheduled to start from New Delhi on 29.05.2015 is cancelled by Railways and you may cancel your ticket to claim refund as per railway rules. I wait for 2 hours and cancelled my ticket. But 25% was deducted from the ticket cost. To my surprise, on 29.05.2015 I observed from railway enquiry that the train is running on time. Because of IRCTC message I could not travel and missed an important family marriage.
I have sent several mails to irctc customer care and simply they do not bother to respond. Will IRCTC senior bosses will lok into .
