Irctc — money not refunded against waiting list | |||

After chart preparation my ticket partially confirmed. Out of 5 passengers got only 2 berths confirmed remaining 3 shown as waiting listed means unreserved. Earlier we use to get back money automatically. Now IRCTC denying to refund for unallotted berths. They are saying that i need to file TDR within 2 hours of train departure. My question is that why i need to submit TDR and that to within very short span of time. My ticket was E-Ticket and paid money through online so same they could refund as earlier they use to. IRCTC not intimated through sms along with confirmed berths sms. They made TDR just to rob the money from passengers. Being a Government organization how they can make robbing policies.
