Irctc — NON REFUND OF AMOUNT OF TICKET BOOKED DESPITE THE TRAIN CANCELLED BY RAILWAY. | |||
Sir, I had booked two tickets named (Meena Kukreja PAN No. ATVPK0403H) and( Divya Kukreja PAN No. DKJTK2880L) in SLEEPER CLASSS for 24.6.15 DEPARTURE FROM BHOPAL AND ARRIVAL AT YASHWANTPUR in Train No. 12648 KONGU EXPRESS UNDER PNR NO. [protected]. The train was proposed to go through Itarsi Junction. As an incident took place on Itarsi and some of trains were cancelled during that period I tried to see in morning on your site National train enquiry system whether train has departed from Nizmuudin rly station (originating station) as the departure from Nizamuddin was in morning at 8.45 am. The message appeared on the site "The train cancelled". Immediately I got both the tickets cancelled but refund amount shown Zero. I was surprised to see that railways has cancelled the train and I did not get any refund. I lodge a complaint at [protected]@irctc.co.in but neither satisfactory reply nor refund received. 2. I strondly condone railways this action and request you to refund full amount of Rs. 1640 in my account AND CONFIRM. 3.
