[Resolved] Irctc — Payment Collected on Failed Bookings | |||
IRCTC has collected entire payment (to the tune of Rs6.5k) on booking that has been failed. This is truly appalling Customer Service. If IRCTC cannot handle simple website functions, then it should simply close down its website and do offline bookings, but accepting payments for Failed Bookings is completely unacceptable. It is Illegal, unprofessional and completely unethical. It is not expected from Government organizations, but at the same time, I cant say that I am surprised considering most of Indian government functions are handled by incompetent fools. Additionally, their helplines are so inefficient - It is impossible to connect to it. I can also assume that IRCTC will take no less than 30 days to process any repayment.
