Irctc — Phone was stolen and AC in 2 tier was npt working at all. | |||
I was travelling on 21st may 2015 from NDLS to PNBE in train number 14004. Mymseat number was 45, SL in 2 tier. I boarded the train from New Delhi itself and the next morning when train was at Varanasi cant, i was in half sleep with curtains pulled down checking all my luggage. Then within 15 minutes of time interval from 9.45 to 10.00 am i fell asleep and immediately got up as i felt something touched me. In a alarming situation I cross checked my luggage and found my mobile phone missing which was in my hand before I slept. I looked for it every where closer n asked the attendant for complaint book as there were many vendors in the train while it stopped at stations. By the rules local vendors are not allowed in the boggie. Later TTE dint help me and only asked me to write a note about the same with basic details. I asked for a complaint book n they dint give me any. I lost my property and even then they were hardly concerned. Many people complained for AC as well but the attendant kept ignoring or procrastinating. I spent 1900 rupees for such lame service. IRCTC wouldnt bother to look in to the matter but it was my responsibility to raise a complaint. If needed i can take this further but wouldnt settle on such service.
