Irctc — Unethical Response | |||
IRCTC has a choice system of ticket to be booked if at least 1 lower is allotted...but when booked the message showed "As you have opted for one lower seat and since no lower is available, the ticket can't be booked". So, I went on to book Side Lower seat but the IRCTC booked two Side Upper seat for two aged person and hence I've to cancel the ticket. Next, I went on to book the ticket under ladies category and bingo IRCTC provided the lower seat this time. And when again I booked the ticket for my Sr. Citizen father, IRCTC again provided me a lower seat. So, in the process of booking 2 seats with 106 availability, it costs me 993.92 (322.23+322.23+202.23+147.23) which would surely be only 322.23 (obviously I'll get 502.23 return, but my peruse is empty for now). This could easily been solved with much better algorithm or may be IRCTC programmed the system to benefit itsel[censored]sing such mean methods. Help me here. Was this information helpful? | |||
